Arrived Monday around 3pm. Took us 1 hour the whole waiting + crossing. Paid 150 KES for a Toyota Fortuner. MPESA only. Prices are written nowhere!!! 😤 Someone will ask if all is good and guide you by foot to a small shop nearby if you don't have Mpesa. This shop will charge you 30 KES for doing the transaction.

Fantastic spot at the beach! Facilities are a bit old but were really clean everyday. Cold showers, flush toilets, dishwashing sinks, free wifi at restaurant (wasn't working for us). Great Safaricom and Airtel internet signal. 500 KES ppn the best value for money ever! Wish I could stay there for several weeks (and I'm not even really into beaches)... Bring your own toilet paper, none available!!

Worst place ever!!!!

He filled up 10 liter of my tank and charged me 500 pesos!
I felt very uncomfortable here. I am travelling solo and he said things like "Hey beautiful" "where is your husband" and "I love you"

If you don't want to get ripped off and harrased go somewhere else.

All below comments still correct. Guy who sleeps at entrance will come and say hi. Few visitors for sunset, but just a hello and they left. Nobody bothered my at night. Stray dogs were friendly. great spot!

Very nice spot, coming or going from Sudan.
Follow the road on maps me till the end and you can camp everywhere you like. Sudan is just great for wild camping and hospitality. Lokal fishermen around gave us some big fish for free. We played football together. Nice last night bevor the “adventure” at the border.

We spent several nights in the park parking lot, along with other motorhomes.

There are bathrooms in the park until 9:30 p.m. but they are about 500 meters away and in the museum, a little closer, until 5:30 p.m.

Hay baños en el parque hasta las 21.30 pero quedan a unos 500 mts y en el museo, un poco mas cerca, hasta las 17.30 hs.

nice clean place, 4 spaces avaliable people walked by to see the sunset.

Before you get here you need the Tickets. They sell them at the Museum Huacas de moche (on the opposite). Nice archaeological site. We paid 15 Sol per Person for Huaca de la Luna including guide. Also included was the Museum Huacas de moche. Much more authentic than Chan Chan.

Camping dos Sargentos é um lugar super estruturado, com banheiros super limpos, chuveiros quentes, muitos pontos de luz espalhados pelo camping. há dois mirantes que dão visão para a praia do forte e sem falar no por do sol que é em frente ao camping.
lugar muito legal mesmo!

há restaurantes próximos ao camping e também há a opção de visitar o forte que fica há uns 10minutos de caminhada.

there is now a no overnight parking sign near the bathrooms, saw some RV parked on ocean boulevard on the side of the road before the beach starts

This water access was locked when we attempted to use it.

Seems the city may be shutting off public access to the park faucets and getting people to go to the septic center/water station. Check photos for more info on flyer.

Nice view of the cave! Favorite place I've sleep so far.

Spent 1 night here. Drove into the road of the Frank slide interpretive centre and before you pass the centre there is a cattle gate on your left. If you go through there, there are some spots on the left side,you do have to drive through a bit of a dip. We have a class c motorhome and only just made it. There are fire pits as well. It's a gravel road with a lot of potholes. There are more spots up the hill if you keep on driving, but that was not a good idea with our RV. We were here alone, during the day there is some cars driving past, at night it's very quiet.

Well-groomed park mostly catering to RVs and boaters. We parked in the tent area ($10) and slept in our van. No one else was around and we had an expansive view of the lake and a trail down to the beach all to ourselves. Showers and flush toilets available within a short walk from tenting site.

Stayed 3 days explored the rocks. Beautiful spot on the lake. Injoy the views

Asked the security guy but he didn’t know if we were allowed or not to sleep here. Didn’t take the risk to be awake so we went to planet fitness to sleep just before crossing the border to Baja.

Great spot, plenty of space around - will definitely be back!

Beautiful free camp site. Clean pit toilets, bins and access to the lake for swimming. Ended up staying 2 nights as it was so lovely!

Not very busy on a Tuesday afternoon. Souvenir shop across the street and a soda shop across the other street.

I stayed here 2 nights no problems. It's as described, just be aware the road is quite bumpy getting in, especially right when you turn onto it. Take it slow and you should be fine

Very nice and clean campground and its free! There is a small river which is a short hike from the corral area. Some noise from the highway, but not bad.

Replaced my rear brake fluid for a few bucks. Again quick and efficient.

A really lovely lodge and campsite. Beautiful, lush grounds with a small infinity pool. Exceptional bar and restaurant area with views over Lake Malawi, serving a variety of drinks and nice menu. Free, fast WiFi. Campsite is set right next to the pristine beach with large grassy pitches, electric points, taps and bbq area. Ablutions are set back up some steps and have hot water. Dan and Trish are so welcoming and helpful, we were offered a chalet as there was no room at the campsite for the same price as camping, quite a treat! But would have been equally happy camping on the beach. Paul is also very helpful, great laundry service available too. 10000 kwa pppn. Highly recommend a stay here.

office for shipping to and from Haifa and Greece. you need to call here before attempting to entry the port. you will be charged handling fee, motorcycle July 2022 from Haifa 123euro. make sure they appoint you a clearing agent before leaving the office, clearing fee 100euro. customs is beside the piort entry.

Large Cenex gas station that also has propane fill, sewer dump (free) and potable water.

nice campground with a lot of shade under trees. Beautifull garden .No services except water .Quiet and close to nature. Mini market 800 m .3€ per night

Very nice and friendly hosts. Very quiet and free. But as mentioned before, eat in their very good restaurant - the steaks are delicious!
Better to arrive not before late afternoon. It is closed on mondays.

Stayed two nights here. For some reason Verizon service is really spotty in this area and couldn’t use our hotspots for our computers. Had no issues staying over night though

Great place for an overnight, lots of room for big rigs as well. No signs saying no camping. Had beautiful hot showers in the morning for $5.00. Centre opened at 9 am.

Very nice and big camping! 500 pesos per adult and 850 the MH. Water potable, electricity, BBQS and clean bathrooms… Just TO STRONG and HOT the showers. It was quite difficult to regulate it. That is my only complaint… Everything else pretty good :)
