Nice place to park, roofed picnic table with bbq pit, away from the highway, big rig friendly, nice view of the mountains Verizon 4 bars

Go just a little further ahead and there is a very nice place under a big tree - before you got to the mayan ceremonial place
(You can avoid the weekend tumult on the football field)

Brantley lake state park. electric and water, covered picnic tables, Grills, warm showers cold bathrooms paid $18.00 reserves required. not my favorite place by any means but needed to recharge and shower. I'm not seeing the attraction of the place but.. if you need to plug in it works. dump station available *** bring blocks. some sites are extremely unlevel also read description of site many are short.

Very well landscaped campground. If windy there are always well protected sites. Not well suitable for larger RVs or trucks. End of February prices down from 3000 to 2500 ARS. Hot showers from 9-11 PM and in the morning from 9 AM

Nice campground. Stayed in spot 128 in early March. Good cell service. The spots are close, but there is a lot of vegetation in between, so it at least feels a bit more private. Showers use tokens and are very cheap. You can take a shower for .50-.75 cents. Lots of noise from the nearby freeways military helicopters overhead, but not that noticeable inside the van. Would recommend.

Not a Cracker Barrel. It’s a Gas Station with a motel next door.

You can park here during the day but must be on the other side of the concrete dividers to camp.

No camping at the palapas on the beach

If you own any type of VW, air cooled, vanagon, jetta, or any VW, this is the best place in town. The owner speaks English.

These are the correct coordinates for this motel. We paid 900 pesos for the entire night. It was a good deal since the surrounding hotels wanted 1200 pesos or more. The room is very clean and quiet. A good place to stay after driving from Bahia de Los Angeles.

The most recent comment actually belongs on the Playa tenten post. This place is not gated and closed at night. No camping.

Such a pretty campsite. 5000. Hot clean showers. No wifi though some 3G signal on Movistar. I was the only one here the night I stayed and the owner let me stay in the cabin shelter by the fire. Possible to purchase eggs from owners also.

Next to the Highway like previously stated, and the airport! Around 11pm the noise settled a little. It’s nice to be in the city after awhile of being without service or neighbors… right? 😉 Went in for dinner and as always I am grateful for a place to stay and for that feeling of safety. We were sent here by the police from the other spot. It is a wild area behind the lanchas port.

Basic campground with a long drop toilet and shelded picnic table. Just us and one other camper, kangaroos and parrots. Nice rocks.
Weak Telstra reception, good Optus.

Walmart store.
No issues getting permission.
Advised where we should park, we were the only RV there.
Lots of satellite stores all round, including McDonald's.

You can park here overnight. If you have an RV, park in the front lot away from the trucks.
We opted to go across the highway and stay at the Walmart.
Both are good over night options.
