Would have to rate as best place so far we have freedom camped. Stunning view and plenty to do. We arrived here around 5pm and left by 8am each morning with no issues. Spent 4 nights here and even had some Cruise America Campers some of the nights and no one asked us to move on.

Nice spot when you don't look on your back where there is a storage😊. But in front of you, left and right also you have a nice beach only for you with a beautiful sea. The water is warm and blue, some corals and small colored fishes. Perfect spot for a night. For how long it will be possible? Inch'allah as long as possible. No facilities, but 4G and two small and nice construction for shadow. I hope you will appreciate it like us.
Salut

A friendly little hotel located down a very bumpy road.

A little rustic in parts with exposed wiring and a just about working shower, but it was a nice stop for the night, and staff were very friendly.

You know you are missing the arepas and patacones!!! This is the place. Good prices. Huge variety of fillings and a few other Venezuelan food items. Dine in. Carry out. Eat outside. Parking in front or on a side street. Pets welcome outside.

Stayed 1 night here, on the parking lot, at the end of the beach. Take care with the soft sand, before choosing your spot. There was running water at the public bathroom. We saw a couple of sea lions and dolphins during the sunset. Dont leave any trash and check-in here if you visited this place, to help other travellers.

Lovely restaurant with friendly staff and extensive menu. Reasonably priced good food. Under $10 for a meal and 2 beers Nice and quiet being out of the town a bit. Open when most of the others were closed.

This is a Future campspot for Overlanders by the owner of Punda milia camp. The place is free of charge at the moment, because it is for self contained travellers. Fenced in Area with view of the sleeping warrior and close to fence line of Lake Elementaita with view of Flamingos.

Nice grassy parking surrounded by trees. We arrived in the late afternoon and stayed for the night before walking to the mirador the next day. As there was nobody from the park we asked a neighbor if we could stay, he said no problems.
There were dozens of monkeys of two species (Mono Ardilla and Mono capuchino) in the trees around the parking. Monkeys being little furry thiefs, there were multiple unsuccessful attempts to steal our stuff. They aren’t aggressive though, they just don’t know the concept of personal space.

Only come here if you want to go bouldering. The camping itself is really only good for tents or a small van (when you are OK with parking on a slight incline). The entrance road is very steep. It is pretty expensive for what you get and the toilets are terrible. The bowl isn't attached to the floor so you may fall over and they weren't cleaned for the two nights that we stayed here.

Make sure to buy the bouldering topo in a city before arriving here because they don't have it. The boulders are spread out over a steep part of the forest.

Road was slightly snowy, but made it with a 2wd camper van. Nice spot nestled in the mountains.

Perfect little campsite, nestled among the unique rocks of the Alabama Hills. From here you can walk to the Arch Trail (highly recommended) or Shark Fin Trail. Come early on a weekday to find a spot, as they fill up very quickly and there are only about 20-something total designated spots in the area. No Verizon signal whatsoever, but if you go back down the road towards town you start to get signal a few hundred yards after it turns from dirt to paved road. Overall, this is one of the most scenic and fun to explore areas I've visited. Check out the Film museum in town, and watch Tremors to see the Alabama Hills on the big screen!

Stayed for 3 nights without problems. Free of charge, no guards around. In the evening a few people came to party and the road is busy all night. A few other campers were there too. During the day we put the car in a secured car park in the city center as we were told it was not safe for foreign vehicles at the beach.

Nice place above town with many overlanders. Big grassy parking in 3 terraces.

Owners Mili and Edgar are nice. Hot showers. Water not potable.

Price 12s per person and also per rig.

The only problem was laundry service - they don't have a dryer so they just hang clothes outside. Weather was so-so but they still said that for sure it's gonna dry until the next day. Well, it didn't, it didn't in next three days. So I really recommend that you use another laundry service down in town, there are really dozens everywhere around.

Quite good, easy to find. If heading north turn right at the fork. You could camp the night here. Very protected from the wind.

Cool spot - just a big dirt lot. Lots of people in RVs, skoolies, cars, and a few tents. Quiet - we only stayed one day. Gas station right down the road! Good place to stop for one night
