Very quiet spot. Flat area, enough space for a few cars. The road is easy, no 4x4 required. I saw some tracks and a old mine, but nobody was around. We stayed one night

SCAM: Do not pay anything until you are about to drive on the ferry. there are scammers who will tell you to pay in the line, for the line, etc. We were scammed out of $60

Sweet little park with street parking along the side. Street was full when I arrived about 7:30 but cleared out in about an hour. Pool bathrooms open all night.

Stayed for 4 nights. Pretty crowded, a lot of other van lifers & RVs around but worked perfectly for wanting to be 20 minutes from Zion & 10 mins from Kolob!

We parked in front of Burger King and nobody bothered us. Quiet night . We checked out the Navajo Code Talker Display & the Shade Houses. Impressive Collections.

Topley 54.51021, -126.31415

Good vibes, nice locals, bit smelly but happy for the good breeze to cool down the rig
Water is raff- perfect for surf sadly no option to rent a board- bit still a piece of gem
The doggies are frenzy too!
Side note:
Don’t pay the rope guy
The playa is public and he is a scammer

we parked a couple of nights in this hostel, it has a big parking lot next to it, although we parked in the small parking lot but we were alone so it was ok, they gave us an electrical connection next to our van, we paid $7 pp/night, and you can use all its facilities and its kayaks, you can ask for free tea and coffee, there is wifi but very slow ...

Paradiso Hostel 11.93358, -86.05411

Went here there was no one here and place was locked up. Would of what's app number on gate but no cell phone service here. Does nook like a love place to camp though.

IguAnitas Place Camping 9.65822, -82.74636

Stayed here one night. Would be fine in a van as parking is on a field next door. For tenting it's all pretty close together under a shelter and next to the bar which turns off music about 11pm. It was low season and was ok. Would not stay in high season. The vibe is no my scene and I am thankful the had lockers to put stuff in.

The price is 380 pesos now, if you consider the quality of the room and the location (boring village) it’s overpriced. With current Mexican prices.

The room is Mexican clean, but the toilet looks dirty, has no toilet seat and there was mold in the room. There is WiFi but it functions very bad.

I stayed here because it was too late to arrive in Oaxaca by bicycle. There was no other hotel in town.

That said, I had a spiderman blanket! And there is a car parts shop next door.

Hotel San Francisco 17.29168, -96.90455

This is a LostPlace. With some swimmingspool, straw huts, destroyed restaurant.

No 4x4 needed to bypass the rocks, but you can also stay infront at the big parkinglot (Fits easy ten trucks). Or you drive after the nature parc sign the right road and stay at the straw huts or the pools.

Great spot to camp between bend and Ontario. Very muddy in may 4x4 recommended until it dries out. Otherwise beautiful landscape. Woke up in the morning to the sound of little birdies chirping.

Estacionamento próximo a churrasqueira dos caminhoneiros. Falamos com o responsável do pátio e ele nos levou até esse lugar super atencioso, nos ofereceu energia do quiosque. Aqui não pega a wifi do posto.

I’m in a van and can get away with stealth camping at 24hr casinos but I like to do the right thing and ask for permission. I asked and was told I could but a security guard had to inspect, I needed to provide proof of insurance, registration and license. I’m totally fine with that, but the security guard never came out. I asked three times & no one showed so I stayed in the south lot closest to the RVs. 1 night no knock. Don’t make it obvious you are in there & try to leave by 8am

Great place for a night. Park on gravel side near back, less highway noise. Cost is $11.50/ night with flushable toilets, no other services. Great location between Lake Louise and Banff.

Lake Louise Overflow Camping 51.38789, -116.13151

The comments are correct, I chose to drive in by crusher so I couldn’t be seen by the road. Very quiet, only 2 vehicles that appeared to be mountain bikers. Great quiet location for night

Kicking Horse Trail Parking 51.31947, -117.00918

Same as previously described by ellengoesafrica. Sheltered kitchen area with electricity. One could pitch a tent under the shelter if it rains. Rates the same when we visited. Excellent campsite and well maintained grounds and ablution facilities. This in spite of the recent flooding in parts of the campsite. The Kotzeshoop road is awful but well worth the slightly longer drive to get here.
Large bags of wood available for sale. We bought baobab and karee trees from their nursery.
