Big flat place with some shade and security.
Only one bathroom that normally are dirty! Some new ones are being constructed but this is taking a long time, some people told us.
We slept 2 nights here. You pay R$ 7,50 per person to cross to Galinhos. Galinhos has a good turístic structure, with hotels, restaurants and small stores and groceries.

Great spot, can get a bit dusty from the road, and bring bug spray!

Great place to stay for a night or more. I spend 3 nights here and felt safe. There are a lot of other rv’s and car, some people pass by and others seems to spend all their nights here.

There are « 3 hours parking » signs, but not enforced. Toilets are clean and the staff don’t care about you (in a good way!).

Great little quiet overnight spot. Only 3 sites right of a park road with electric but no water. The park next door has playground, frisbee golf, covered picnic tables, and rubbish bins. A walking trail (yet to be explored) nearby. An “on your honor” fee box for $10 is newly installed (used to be free.)

Great campsite $23 per night, cash only - some first come first serve campsites. Right by the river - easy access to Clearwater and Wells Grey park. Sani dump has broken pipe and boil water advisory in place and not able to fill from campground spigots

well, the place is nice, very nice.
but, the price changed when the guy from reception notice we are travelers and we do not be here for work, like all the other people in the place.
we acepted to pay 180 for a dorm room.
to late to go another place and its raining
will stay only one night.
next morning, we advice that the price.will be 150.
place for a toyota, no more bigger then that.

Estamos no recem criado Pousada Camping das Araras, tudo ainda em formação, muito trabalho pela frente, mas tufo indica que vai ficar muito legal, local tranquilo e seguro.

There is a lot just after the phils trailhead. Decent Verizon signal and one bar AT&T. There are probably 10 other vans out here.

Nice place with some places fou us. with free water and free electricity.

Wonderful little NPS campground with host. Clean restroom and coin operated showers. Paved parking for my 22ft class C. Picnic tables and fire ring. Sound of the river in the background. $8 per night with my senior pass.

Recreation
Loon Lake provides excellent boating, fishing, swimming and water play opportunities. Visitors can also enjoy relaxing on the sandy beach.
Facilities
The campground provides flush toilets, paved roads, vehicle parking, and an amphitheater.
Sites contain picnic tables and fire rings. The site is now closed for the season and will reopen May 2023.

not the greatest camp area, noisy at night with people speeding up and down the road but nice location and river view.
11euros for a motorcycle 1 person and tent. expensive given you don't get much and it is very public

Spots closer to the road are clear, but the road is washed out. 4x4 required to get much back on the road. Plenty of room close to the highway.

this is where you get Milford sound cruises. even if you don't get a cruise I recommend spending the day enjoying the area. free parking 30 minute walk away. even if you pay $25 for parking it's still a 10 minute walk to the terminal. even just the drive here from te anau is amazing

We washed our car here after going to the desert. Unfortunately, we didn’t agree on a price before washing and they asked for 4.000.000 rial. At the end we still paid 1.000.000 rial after negotiating. If you go here, make sure to agree on a reasonable price beforehand.

Clean ablutions, hot showers. All campsites have a shade cover and braai pit. Hiking trails (ranging in length from 5 - 10km) start from campsite and from picnic site further in the park.
4 x 4 trail available at further cost, did not do this.
R155 for adults one night camping and entry - standard price. Discounted price available but not sure how you qualify for that!
Nice place to stay if in the area. Few animals in the park.

I could not drive into Tourist police, because there was an arc which my Camper can not pass under it. 3.1m. So we slept nearby. it was perfect place to sleep. Very clean toilets, shower, water and shadow under the trees no problem. But bit noisy from the road, and tourist bus comes from 5am.

It was a really nice place to visit. Especially if you have kids it is a must visit place. We spent for 3 hours to see it with three kids. It was super funny. Adult:15$, kids:7$

We went here to fix our fridge but they couldn't so they send us to an other shop in town. Safari 4x4.

Big campground but all campsites are quite big and it gives a feel of privacy. Ablutions are clean but there was no hot shower for us. Maybe due to loadshedding... We paid 200 per night for a site in low season, wich was very cheap ! Power and tap water available at each site. Also, if you stay at the campground, you get free permit to hike every trails that starts from Algeria campground. So its a big bonus as permits are not cheap ! 4G with MTN (but not during loadshedding). A troop of baboons comes regularly so hide your food and garbage if you dont wanna get into troubles.You can buy a few things at reception, like firewood.
Very nice place in low season, we were 2 or 3 cars max the whole time.
