Area I still open and in pretty good shape. Note the elevation here is 7500 ft, so plan accordingly.

Lots of dispersed camping here. Road is in good condition. 1/3 mile. Left stream site.

like others say a lot of in and out.. fishermans were there in the morning but i had no issues.

Very small area and close to the road but beautiful views and good ATT signal.

I drove in unannounced and had my faulty Prado V6 4.0 alternator diagnosed and replaced with reconditioned OEM unit (1.5hrs later @ R3500).

Returned a week later for full 300,000km service + filters + brakes + diff & transfer case oils + fuel tank repair (4hrs later @ R8000).

Not a safe area outside - but secure inside.

DISMAD - wood made to measure
We needed a plywood board made to measure for a small expansion of the interior.
You won't find it in hardware stores or carpenters.
But at DISMAD you will find what you are looking for.
You will also find hinges, screws, angles, silicone, paint and much more.

Went down after May long weekend, even with an ohv ban and fire ban in place. Was so nice and quiet due to lack of activity. probably saw one vehicle a day while I was staying for 4 nights.

Just to add: No dogs allowed so we couldn't stay

One spot right off the road, then multiple further in. Only ones here in. Pinyon pine and Utah Juniper for cover bigger than our truck camper. No services but 2 bars Verizon

A small, quiet spot close to the water. Swimming is possible at the bottom of the rocks. The jetty protects a natural mangrove-type area.

probably the best view of the Abu Dhabi Corniche. Of course, this becomes even more meaningful at night.

It's a cul-de-sac that ends in a small car park. A few spaces are available mainly in the morning, after which it's Russian roulette. A lot of people pass through but it's quiet, just cars idling.

I spent 2 days there with no problems. I often saw the police passing by but they didn't say anything to me.

Great mechanic specialising in diesel cars. I had a malfunction of the pump which transfers diesel from my auxiliary tank to my main tank. They checked the whole system for diesel flow and checked the pump functionality and filter. They fixed the problem and I am now back in full range again. Super friendly and very efficient.
It can be a bit difficult to find as you need to enter through a big red gate. Just drive up the street and a guy will come out and open.

Nice little, perfect real campsite. Everything there, everything clean. Even a little liberary. Good bakery nearby.

Just a pull off right outside the park. Camped here in my bus & did a little work throughout the next morning. No one bothered me & it was beautiful! Lots of people stop to take pictures at the Yellowstone sign but it’s a perfect place to stay in you’re headed from Yellowstone to Tetons!

Flat spot, near road but barely visible. No garbage bins or anything else, it’s wild camping. During day lot of people walking their dogs (did not mind the camper) and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. In the evening it’s very quiet. Quick walk to panoramic view on valley and Trieste.
Grotta Negra is 45 minutes walk.

Quiet. Not much traffic. Pretty view of the river.Sadly, no moose today.

Easy to park my 25ft long rig. Got charged $80 pesos for 120 liters. Really good water pressure that filled the tank quick. Super friendly attendant, I told him I’d make sure to add him on the map for his friendly service. I brought my own hose and a water bandit plug to easily connect it.

Great place !! Clean, potable water. Lots of trash cans. Picnic table in the shade. Donations requested. Please do leave a donation.

Very nice over night stop. We arrived Sunday nobody there. Only us. Next day camping sites almost full.

Asked the manager if it was ok to park overnight. “Yes, ma’am of course. We just ask that you limit your stay to 48 hrs.” She asked that I park on either side, or as far from front entrance as possible. I parked under a light by the garden section. Noisy until it closed then very quiet until it opened. Yes the train woke me but I went right back to sleep. White Sands National Park is only a 20 min drive from here.
