Nice big flat parking lot, £7 for overnight stay to be paid on the app. Quiet and nice walks. No facilities. They say max 4 vans but there is plenty of space for many more.

Amazing place, run by really lovely people. We felt warmly welcomed from the first moment on. Cozy room, delicious coffee and well organized tours in the Khovd region. (Hiking, Horseback riding, nomad families) Lucas, Marvin and their great team did everything to make our stay and even the further travel work out smoothly. Definitely recommend!
Thank you! ☀️

Here the turn off starts and continues for about 1 hour until you reach the EN100. Road is very nice and a good way to do a circle between Salonjamba and Pediva gates. Didn’t find the road on Guru or Maps.me

Smallish but well equipped. Tends to get more adventurous travelers that don't enjoy next to the highway truck stops :)

The campsite is very run down. The sites are tatty, ablutions are ok but the female side had a really bad septic smell! I think the lodge has let the campsite side of the business go which is a pity. Nice pool area where we spent a lot of time as the view from our camp, number 6, looked straight at the staff quarters. We went across the road to Little Sossusvlei campsite, looked way better and had private ablutions.

Nice quiet spot. Auto-ticket device now $2, otherwise as described. Lots of mosquitos. Nice sunset with a big gator swimming around off the dock A sheriff came driving through in the pre-dawn hours but didn't bother me. Would be really nice if I had a kayak...

Lake was full in May. Made it down the road in the Prius (but only just) and found a pull off to the right of the road in, above the parking lot, the rest was too rocky for my low clearance. Lots of nesting kingbirds, swallows, and 2 nighthawks in the evening.

Lovely spot. Was cold, nearly freezing. The ground mostly has a little slope here, though not too much to sleep ok.

Nice spot next to the cementery, quiet and calm. Vieux to the Village with sunset. Place for a tent and two bikes. Flat and comfortable spot between the olivetrees.

The gateway and entry way were too small for our RV so we didn't go in. they have one of those signs over the entryway. it's pretty tall but we would be able to fit our larger vehicle in there

Namibia --> Angola
Everybody was very friendly and helpful. Took us 2 hours to cross. At the Namibian side, the customs officer needed some help filling in the carnet. And only a quick check of the car. At the Angolan side, we had to wait for someone who could speak English. But after that, everything went smoothly. At customs, they had problems with their computer, so that took really long (with many apologies from the officers). They made all the necessary copies, so no need to bring any of your own. Road tax was 6500 Kz or 200 NAD. They checked the car, but nothing special.
Next to customs, you'll find a guy who only changes NAD to Kz (or vice versa). We got 140.000 Kz for 3000 NAD. Insurance you can buy in Menongue.

When you arrive at the ferry, some people will start shouting to the other side, so the 'ferry' makes its way to this side of the river to pick you up. It's more of a pontoon and the exit at the other side is quite steep, so it's better to reverse when driving on the pontoon. After crossing, it's still 40 km and almost 2 hours drive to Cuatir camp. And it is expected that you take people and supplies from the village near the ferry to the camp.
On our way back, a boy of 8 years old and his mother took us to the other side, as the captain wasn't available...

Beautiful spot next to the creek.
Coming from the west, go down the forest road until you cross the bridge. On the left is a small spot with an established fire pit where one tent or a small car fits, on the right you see (standing on the bridge) a small beach with some more privacy which you can easily access from a bit further up the road.

Lugar muy tranquilo rodeado de olivos. Muy buena atención de los dueños. Hasta nos cocinaron pollo con ensalada y papas al horno. Baños limpios. Recomendable

Beautiful. Bugs weren't bad. Good service. 2 rangers came by to confirm I was camping there and asked how long my stay was. Genuinely nice.

Great new gas station to dump and pump tires for free :)
As the other comments say, there’s no potable water, only to rinse after dumping.
The dump station is by the gray cinder block building and the air for tires is on the side of every pump.

Nice, level little bridge. We stayed on the opposite side of the street from Sanders Fish Market and didn’t notice any 15 minute limit signs on that side of the street, but did see a sign on the Sanders side of the street. Occasional noise from cars and people on a Saturday night, but not bad.
