Très beau camping. site relativement intime. vous avez le choix entre des sites waterfront ou non. Plusieurs sites sont très ensoleillés car les arbres ne sont pas très haut. A 5 minutes en voiture d'une des plus belles larges de la Floride. North beach. 5$ pour le stationnement pour la journée ! Sanitaires vieux, mais propres.

Nice campsites on the lake. Price of 26000 kwacha per person is kind of high. No wifi, nowhere to wash dishes. The lady said the water in the bathroom comes straight from the lake, so we did not use the shower or the sink in the bathroom out of fears of bilharzia. Can’t really recommend this place due to the price being so much higher than other nearby places. Also, need high clearance vehicle to get here.

Great camping spot, still 1500 pppn, but no one checks so you don’t have to register. Showers are hot but pressures weak if all the showers are on- shower 1 at a time.
Treks and tours can be booked there but the treks only take cash or Pago Mercado. The bus excursions take card.
The park shop is also open til 10pm which is nice.

Sehr angenehm, viel Platz. Wir haben zwei Nächte dort gestanden und sind tagsüber nach Quebec gefahren. Abends kein Verkehr auf dem Platz.

this is the best pullout among those listed on here. Nice flat pullout that has a trail to the beach, also has a nice flat green area thats blocked off to vehicles but could easily pitch a tent. it is slightly lower than the road so you don't notice the traffic as much. Not much traffic at all on the road during the night but a fair bit during the day. Came in from the ferndale and the road is narrow, windy, and has lots of potholes but by fair not as bad as people on here make out. Roads too narrow for a RV though.

Amazing camping next to Hervas with cosy cafeteria/bar. We arrived at cold night and get special price for cyclist (15,40€ for 2ppl+ tent and free electricity). The staff was extremely helpfull and at rainy day offer us even to put tent in the building upstairs. We also did laundry here for 5 euro with washing liquid (there was not drying machine but they let us to put clothes in the dinning room to dry). Hervas is also part of cycling trail Ruta de La Plato.

Spent one night. Truck noise was about 3/5 loudness but it doesn't bother me personally. Showers and Laundry are up and running again. Signs posted say unattended vehicles will be towed, so overnight is fine just don't leave your rig here. Walmart down the road with a large parking lot for all your shopping needs.

There’s a turn off a bit up the road from this pin (easy to miss so go slow). Camped out here for a week and never saw another camper in my area (there were some larger RVs where this pin is). Super quiet and amazing stargazing.

The best free fenced dog park in North America. 35 acres of fenced dog park with multiple swimming ponds, tons of trails, both wooded and open areas, small dog area, and a great volunteer community.

We paid 400 Pula pppn. Not sure if the prices have increased or if that's high season (which often starts in April). Campsites are right in the animal hotspot of Khwai and very close to the main game drive areas, hence the price and popularity. We showed up a few days earlier without booking, but they didn't have any campsites we liked, so we stayed elsewhere. When we asked again a few days later there were plenty of available options, so you just have to be a bit lucky I guess. If you really want to stay here, or on a specific campsite, booking in advance is recommended.

There's two options: either get a campsite near the reception, which is close to the ablutions but you're also near a lot of other campsites and don't have a view over the river, or stay far away from the reception, and thus ablutions, along the river. We opted for the latter. The view is one of the best we've had and there's a lot of animals walking around. Mainly elephants and hippos, though they regularly get lions and hyenas at night as well (this goes for both options).

Ablutions from there are only reachable by car. You don't hear or see any other campsites, but there's a path going right next to the river which is frequently used by vehicles who looked right into our campsite, which got annoying. They also have another campsite which is far from the reception and a little further from the river, which doesn't have as nice views but offers more privacy.

All in all, the place is beautiful, but we found it too expensive for what you get.

We really liked it here. And the value for money was excellent. If someone comes to collect your money it is 2000 for a couple and a motorhome. Children under 13 do not have to pay. The hot water was heating all day (probably log burner) and the showers were very clean (ladies with good pressure). There are sinks and power points everywhere. The location is right on the river, near to the San Martin monument and across the road from the kids playground.
We arrived late Sunday afternoon where people were finishing up their Asados. Sunday night and Monday were quiet. We only paid 2000 for the whole stay.

Followed the coordinates exactly which takes you about a mile or so off the main road (not necessary) very secluded and about as wild as wild camping can get. absolutely loved watching the night sky through my sunroof though, incredible. overall great little spot.

Great place, came after a big storm earlier in the day on Saturday so I practically had the place to myself. Will likely be busy on nice weekends but all first come first serve. Some spots more level than others but plenty big enough for large rigs, tables and fire rings at all, and some with trees for hammock spots. Manager guy in white truck is nice, definitely cares about the property. Was able to get two nights for price of one by coming in after midnight, but that might be a fluke. Frisbee golf course and dumpsters also available. Will be back to paddle board

Update to my last post: we went back on Monday and there was no Aduana there as well! At the end the Banjecito employee had to do our TIP. I do not recommend this border!
We found out later from officials that this border has staff problems because nobody wants to work there. Go to a different border if you’re going north

Numerous potable water spigots throughout the campground. However, Utah has had issues with backflow from contaminated water tanks into their water spigots thus they ask you not connect the spigot to a hose to your water tank. Preferrably transfer through a water jug or other safe means.

The road to Mamoli Beach Camp is not accessible for bigger rigs at all. Don't even try.., - Now, after heavy rains , the shorter access road is flooded and one needs to take a detour to reach the Camp. The Camp is secluded and hidden behind a big sand dune. The Camp sites are sandy and not leveled, surrounded by shade net walls which actually dampens the flair of the bush camp. The bathrooms were very basic which often triggers the thought. Why is it that campers should often settle for very rustic, basic and often less clean bathrooms? We had a lot of mosquito's since water is all around the camp . Activities like snorkeling are way off the beach from the camp. The Camp Manager is very helpful and friendly.

I cycled from Florida to Santander. I got stopped several times by supportive locals telling me that this area is really unsave and I should turn around to Florida, or get out to Santander quickly, depending on where we met.
In El Palo I got told by different locals that the armed conflict is actively going on around Toribío and Jambaló.

When you‘re searching for a really quiet place for night, you should visit the Mbakodja Guest Camp between Palmwag and Khowarib.

The way from the mainstreet to the camp is 6 km long with a lot of fun with 4x4.

There is a clean shower and toilet an running water at place.
