The road in has some washboards for about two miles so if you have a trailer you will have to go slow.

There’s limited spots and it was fairly busy. Verizon worked well.

I would not go past this spot with a trailer. The road will be blocked by rough terrain and a stream soon after and you won’t be able to then around with tour trailer. You’ll have to backup with your trailer of the last spot at the end of the road is taken (I learned this the hard way :) ).

Nice mountain view.

Lots of spots and on the truck side plenty of large spots to fit RV. The road noise is loud though so you’ll likely want some ear plugs.

Definitely helps to be a bit further from Love’s and the road to reduce noise. But close to train tracks so probably still benefit from good ear plugs.

Otherwise pretty uneventful.

successfully parked overnight without issue. no signage forbidding it, though it is summertime after classes are over and I have the additional excuse of plugging into the electric charger (also free on J1772!)

AVOID THIS PLACE !
we have a big rig and this was one of our only option but we still chose to not stay here. The lady at the reception was really unfriendly and the price is way too high to just park on a grassy parking with no services and a lot of trash. spa not available at the moment. When we ask why it's so expensive the lady at the reception just said we can leave if we're not happy so we did

Don’t come here if you are looking for Wi-Fi. They have none. I spent an hour in the reception pulling hair. Otherwise nice camp. They now charge 180 ppr

Just as described. Take care with potholes, there are deep ones. Can hear the highway a bit but not bothersome.

Good (one lane) pavement halfway up, good, firm, slightly washboarded gravel the rest of the way. No problem for 2WD. Great view over the lake!

Not the cleanest or most aesthetically pleasing spot but safe and surprisingly quiet for being so close to a busy road. Had a good night in our rooftop tent. There are even a few palm trees to give it the slightest charm and some rats to keep you company. Toilets smelly but not too dirty. A young guy working there speaks great English and is very kind like 99% of Iraqis. Didn't allow us to pay anything.

Best reached via the Sheikh Ahmed al-Waeli street (32.628916, 44.037229) in our experience. Other roads Google and OSM maps sent us we weren't allowed to pass due to military checkpoints that turned us back.

Great place to camp right outside of petrified Forest NP. Only saw one other van in the area.I went further back on the road and had a large flat pullout. Very little highway noise and perfect weather for sunset/sunrjse

The sites have an amazing view of Lake Powell.
The dry camping sites are mostly sloped and not level. The staff is unfriendly and unhelpful.
dry camping (40 dollars) shower (3 dollars), washing machine (3.50 dollars) and dryer (2 dollars) all located at the main house. there are several restrooms scattered around the grounds.
Dump station and drinking water at the dump station are free. You may be able to use this access as a non-campground user if you ask.
There are also full hook-up sites, price unknown.

Lovely campsite! All the amenities and facilities are great. We stayed three nights. 🩷 do visit the shop. Handicraft made by Jeanette the owner. Eddie is very kind and helpful with lots of suggestions etc. Sylvia the cook does an excellent job in the kitchen. Beef stew is a good choice! Well worth
