Nice spot for a night or two. Beautiful beach with shaded palapas. Lots of locals nearby. Lots of garbage by where you park.

Had some trouble finding it. No one was there, we called and got no answer so we had to drive back in to town to find something else.

Great spot in a great location. Quiet, spacious green garden and welcoming people. 1500CFA/person and 2000CFA for the car. Would recommend. Spot around the corner that does food cheap!

Nice and very safe overnight spot, but you’re squeezed in between 10 other cars and restaurant tables. Food in the restaurant is average (and cooking in between the restaurant tables would be a bit awkward). Showers are the swimming pool’s outside showers. 5 USD per car.

Buen lugar para pasar la noche, tranquilo y muy frio. Es seguro, lss personas de la comunidad son amables. Al contrario de las descripciones se nota el esmero de la comunidad por mantenerlo bien. El sauna es muy bueno. No pagamos por pasar la noche soli la entrada al sauna

Clean place, including immaculate toilet! Really lovely helpful staff. $1.25lb service wash, $4.00 to $6.75 for wash depending on size then $0.25 for 8 minutes in the dryer. Will come back here just because its so clean and friendly!

Campsite is perfectly located right on the beach. Cost was R$30 per person when camping with our car. Electricity for lights is now by solar, we didn’t see any plug points for charging.

If coming by vehicle, it should be noted that that the pass from Ilhabela town is 4wd and their is direction control: between 8:00 -14:00 traffic is allowed from Ilhabela and from 15:00 to 18:00 traffic from Castelhanos.

A word of caution: during our time here, the black flies (borrachudos) were prolific both in the camp and on the beach which left you with very itchy spots all over. Hopefully it was just a seasonal thing but it meant instead of staying a few days we fled after one night.

Res only right now. 8 dollar fee plus 5 dollar day. $13 for a site. Not sure why they do this. Or why the reservation fee is 8 dollars, no one is doing anything its just an app...

I have two bars of Verizon. I did see one bar as I drive around the campsite. Large well spaced campsites. Very clean. Shade or sun. Take your pick. $20 a night or $10 with senior pass. Noise from the highway, but 3 miles from town.

Nice city park with picnic tables, benches, covered seating area and bathrooms. Stopped here to cook lunch and enjoy the river. GPS brought me right thru downtown Ann Arbor and right thru UM campus with a 26’ Motorhome pulling a toad.

Dump station near exit. Blue handle water spigot but it’s right next to the dump so I wouldn’t drink it as others might use that to rinse.

The road has been improved. Beautiful spot. Looks like you must reserve on Rec.gov which costs an additional $8 for the online reservation. We had already done that and it was worth it to us to make sure we got a site before driving up the road. We were able to enjoy a day at the Sand Dunes where the campground was full and know that we had a nice spot for the night. Worth it!

Free legal dispersed camping at Beaver Cove at Crowley Lake. Guy at the marina gatehouse directed me here. Good dirt/gravel road washboard, any vehicle could make it, whether car or trailer. Beautiful views of lake, cove, Sierras, and mountains to the east. Portapotties. Swimming allowed. There’s a pay campground nearby with potable water. Not sure if there’s a dump station here, but there’s one nearby at Crowley Lake BLM campground. 4 bars for Verizon! Everything else you may have cell service back at the gate house.

Honduras to El Salvador with a motorcycle. Smooth but slow border crossing. When exiting Honduras ask for a copy of the cancelled TIP, you'll need this to pass the checkpoint and get the TIP for El Salvador. The Honduran aduana told me I didn't need it but he was wrong, I had to turn around at the checkpoint and go back for it.

Gate was closed, end of May. And don’t ask Google Maps for navigation.

Excellent fish tacos! Agreed. They’re the best we’ve had in all of Baja. Friendly, fast service with dining inside and out. We’ll be back!

Stayed the night at this truck stop. There were a few campers/campervans parked for the night. Gas, food, bathrooms. Not sure on showers but I would bet they were available as there were many big rigs parked for the night. Arby's as well. Not a bad night's sleep.

Great big spot, nice and dry today for me and my tent. You can pull a decent distance away from the road so it's quite quiet, and very little traffic. Could easily fit 10+ cars if they're not too spread out.

Small quiet rest area off the highway. Tourist info. No trucks allowed at night which makes it very quiet, for a rest stop.

Long dirt access road running adjacent to the highway. Looks like there are a few OHV trailheads so it might be a staging road.

Lots of pullouts along the side of the road, many big enough for RVs. A bit of road noise but it's dull enough that it turns into white noise.

MONSTER cell service on Google Fi/T-Mobile, even without a booster. The perfect overnight pulloff if you're traveling up 15.
