Not friendly people around. In the evening few car full of young people with different kinds of music loudly. And in the morning some woman told us that we cannot camp there because it’s not a park and police is on the way, so packed everything up and went away. Overning is still possible, but not pleasant. Would not reccomend.

there's a BLM road here so any spot along here is fine. quiet, pretty, great views, good stars. There are BLM roads offshooting the main roads at intervals so those would work too

You should park close to Cracker Barrel, not near the Marriot. Not very much space for bigger rigs, just a few end-to-end car spaces.

Right behind the police checkpoint, after the last hut (baño publico) coming from La Paz. "Emergency"-stop after nightfall. Not too much traffic during the night.

Like others said, absolutely beautiful spot!

Google GPS is wrong, but follow directions posted below or GPS to other post “Top of a Hill” and just keep going straight until you hit another sign for it then from there’s a sign for the canyon where you take a right over a cattle grate then pretty much straight to the canyon. The road was pretty loose at points but was able to keep my speed through and make it in an ‘05 dually sprinter. Definitely worth the hassle

Nice quiet campground deep in the woods (compared the to other ones west of here which are more like street parking).
Price is good but you still have to pay the park’s day pass as you are stopping in the park. It’s ok if you intended to visit anyway but if you are simply passing through try to find something out of the national parks.

Great camping to stay and get to know the beautiful city of Campo Alegre - SC. 2km from Cascata Paraíso, we were walking. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are spacious and cleaned with excellent regularity. Hot showers. In addition to the beauty of the Araucaria, they provided us with many pine nuts, a delight. The campsite is attached to Café no Campo, a restaurant that serves delicious colonial coffee on weekends and holidays. 25 p.p.

Very nice resort! Quiet and relaxing. Beautiful view and area. The rooms were nice with running water, hot shower and toilet. Very kindly staff and very good meals. One night costs about $40, but is worth it!

Great place to van-camp in Monument Valley. Secure parking in her yard. 15 mins to Forest Gump point and 10 mins to the 17 mile scenic drive.

Ileane the owner is very friendly and helpful. We called and let her know we’re coming on the day and she confirmed she had availability. Charged us $20 for camping + $5 for a shower.

Beautiful views of monument valley from where we parked. Convenient and close to the attractions.

Great lake side campsites. At some point in June, expect swarms of mosquitoes at sites next to Lake, so go in May and it's awesome.

Magnolia road is a beautiful drive, don’t let the steepness scare you from this amazing camp site. Even if there are other campers you are far enough away from them that they aren’t a bother but if you want to hang out with them it’s close enough for that too. Recommend vans and trucks.

Unlimited quiet places along river, cycling/running trail runs between carpark and water. No facilities but no signs limiting parking. About 40 minute walk into city. Very popular with RV's but the spots are only 6 metres deep so we turned sideways. Recommended.

Wonderfully located place in nature. Snow mountains around. We are one day the only visitors here (end of May). Our place is right on the river. One outhouse present. Road to the campground is in good condition. Very close to the trail to the Thompson waterfall (also very nice). We clear up the empty beer cans as a thank you for this great free nights. Probably from Victoria Long Weekend. Hey guys, why don't you take your garbage with you?

Quiet spot to spend the night near the city. Along with my truck camper there was one van and two tents. There were porta-potties. Busy with locals during afternoon/evening but empties out at night.

This place is surrounded by huts now. There are places to camp everywhere. Because of the increased of the water levels from 2020
the tracks along the lake are not like you will find them on the map. Nice drive, beautiful landscape.

This is indeed a great spot. If you arrive at dark it could seem a bit spooky because of the abandoned large building. But during day the setting is absolutely lovely and quiet. No-one was there or bothered me. I have a roof top tent.
The Emen valley walk is not spectacular after the waterfall, you could return there. Very slippery when wet. The cave is super stinky and full of bats

Dry. Unfortunately the ranger told us it has water though there is clearly none when we got here. Only big bones left of giraffe carcass
