micahsilver1201 | Used this spot after a lont day of sriving and just needed somewhere to sleep when nothing was available. Big parking lot. Overnight parking is definitely allowed here, the sign indicates that "long-term parking" should use the edge spots. I was in a trailer and no one said anything, but I really wouldn't reccomend it for anything other than a camper van. I stuck out like a sore thumb. Otherwise, it's well lit and there were a couple other cars here at night. You will get woken up early though. It's an active park n' ride and people are driving in and out of the lot and closing their doors all morning before work. The noises got to me around 7. Didn't have a bathroom either as far as I could see. All and all, If you don't have another option, it was a safe place to stop. Might be better on a weekend. Also, I had 5G with T-mobile |

elmoost | Good place to stay, very neat camping area and a lovely swimming pool! We were charged 50Rs per car per night. Very lovely people helping us to find pizza and prepare some caipirinhas at night :) Best to stay during the week, in weekends used as events location. |

jasman_1 | Lovely spot next to stream. picnic table at this site. Acouple fire pits at others. Off season so no charge. someone came by and asked we not park in the grass. Map was a little confusing, enter off Pennsylvania Ave next to baseball stands. Port-A-Potty on site. |

jasman_1 | Edit to earlier post. Code enforcement officer wanted to know why we hadn't paid. Explained what we understood rules were. He said we need to call # on sign to make arrangements if pool closed. Told him sign said Park personel would come by to collect fee if pool closed. He seemed confused and said he would report in and if no one showed up, not to worry about it. No one showed up. |

paulina.joyce | Stayed here for one night and we liked it. It get’s windy in the evening but during the day it had the perfect temperature. The dog was really cute and friendly he quietly followed us around and was so happy to get our attention and pets! I think he doesn’t get that much attention and love so please spare some for him when you’re there ! We had a great view there to enjoy some wine and the sunset.
Note: the owner was chill but ripped us off because we gave him 500ps and he said “he didn’t have change so if he could give it back to us later” When we came back later he gave us mixed pesos and US$ but definitely not enough as we saw later on. So better to have the 250p straight so he can’t rip you off. |

ace4van | Nice free parking on a quiet street. Just a 10 minutes walk to some good restaurants, brewery, ice cream shop. But the train is so so loud, and come multiple times in the middle of the night. Just be prepared |

angie.colston63 | Couldn’t find other sites but near them a faint track off to the right before the road drops down into dry river bed. Follow the track towards concrete water storage tanks, it drops down into river bed then out again then back down into river bed and camped there. Surrounded by mountains. No shelter |

nicolas.marcil | Public parking without overnight restrictions, next to public beach. We were disturbed by two individuals who fought all night, probably high on something. Store owner across the street isn’t against people parking there for the night but says some people abuse from it and stay there for days. A new house is being built next to the parking, I imagine they may have more objections. Too bad to see people leave garbage behind. |

Ylime | Quiet spot. I really enjoyed camping out surrounded by all the tall trees. It was a good place to sleep before leaving out early for Skylight Cave. Similar to other mentioned service providers, T-Mobile service came and went, but mostly I had no service. |

Tucks' Truck | Good for a nightstop. Large area at the side of the trail in the National Forest land. A river can be heard but not seen due to dense bushes. There may be better spaces further up the trail into the forest, but we just wanted quick night stop so didn't look further. Just a fire ring, no other facilities. Free. |

coaztalcreationz | Turn off for Davie Lake Rd is not marked. If you’re heading northbound on Hwy 97 from Bear Lake it is the first left after Davie Muskeg FSR. No Rec sign until you reach the actual Rec,we stayed to the right at the fork, the left goes up to private cabins. Family oriented campground. Large sites (10-12) with plenty of room and a few tents sites. 2 pit toilets ,that are kinda run down. Some highway and train noise but distant. Epic sunsets here. Fresh free water at the gas station in Bear Lake, right by the picnic tables and garbage cans.

BTL | Good spot indeed. Follow the instructions below of oldies to camp right next to the lake. Beautiful view in the morning. We arrived at 6h10pm and were still allowed in. We only paid 2 usd for two persons and a car (probably because we said we would be leaving before 9am the next morning). Noise from Panam is not too bad (and we’re in a pop-up camper). |

Sehr empfehlenswert |

legomind | I contacted David by email to let him know and we got a response within few hours. We didn't meet but was able to park on the street and sleep. It's near a busy road but with earplugs it's pretty manageable. Thx to him for that |
