Nice quiet parking lot at lake Champlain. Really nice view in the morning. Some other vans. Police checked the place in the morning, but didn't say anything.

Wonderful and quiet place. We were alone so we spent a good night. Hot water to take a shower. Garbage bins and shelters. Waterhole full of birds and wildebeests. We recommend totally.

Nguroje - Mayo Ndaga
Slippery muddy road with hillclimbs. The surface changes from hard packed clay with 0%grip that will let all bikers down as soon as you twist the throttle or turn. I fell countless times. And the other half is that sticky clay (that I actually prefered :) ) i had to take the low fender off to help to free my front wheel. You cant ride fast enough anyway to trough the mud in your face. A few locals that get stuck along the way even with defenders. But moast dont even try at the moment. All locals said its really hard right now

3rd day Mayo Ndaga - Banyo
Maybe 3 more clay hillclimbs but nothing harder than the day before. Boarder crossing easy but they refused me to give a entry stamp in Cameroon cause they said the boarder is officially closed trough covid and I will get the stamp in Jaunde.
In Cameroon road is still tricly and steep sometimes. I even saw a fresh burned 6x6 that fell on the side. The 3 river crossings are a joke if you made it that far. Banyo is a good place to lick your wounds, clean the breaks and get a simcard

4rth day Banyo - Tibati - Yoko
Banyo - Tibati hard slippery clay but no hillclimbs. 2wd Toyota corola take this road
Tibati - Yoko new paved and perfect. No traffic fast road

5th day Yoko - Ntui - Jaunde
From Yoko to Ntui no pavement and some parts are tricky. Some stuck Trucks and Corolas.
Ntui to Jaunde. Congratulation you made it

Used this spot after a lont day of sriving and just needed somewhere to sleep when nothing was available. Big parking lot. Overnight parking is definitely allowed here, the sign indicates that "long-term parking" should use the edge spots. I was in a trailer and no one said anything, but I really wouldn't reccomend it for anything other than a camper van. I stuck out like a sore thumb.

Otherwise, it's well lit and there were a couple other cars here at night. You will get woken up early though. It's an active park n' ride and people are driving in and out of the lot and closing their doors all morning before work. The noises got to me around 7.

Didn't have a bathroom either as far as I could see.

All and all, If you don't have another option, it was a safe place to stop. Might be better on a weekend.

Also, I had 5G with T-mobile

very very calm area. At daytime it is used as parking place for walking to the Burg Eltz. Staying overnight is possible by paying 2 parking tickets (2x€2, cash only!)
This is the closest experience to wild camping in Germany, and it is fully legal!!

Good place to stay, very neat camping area and a lovely swimming pool! We were charged 50Rs per car per night. Very lovely people helping us to find pizza and prepare some caipirinhas at night :) Best to stay during the week, in weekends used as events location.

Edit to earlier post. Code enforcement officer wanted to know why we hadn't paid. Explained what we understood rules were. He said we need to call # on sign to make arrangements if pool closed. Told him sign said Park personel would come by to collect fee if pool closed. He seemed confused and said he would report in and if no one showed up, not to worry about it. No one showed up.

Stayed here for one night and we liked it. It get’s windy in the evening but during the day it had the perfect temperature. The dog was really cute and friendly he quietly followed us around and was so happy to get our attention and pets! I think he doesn’t get that much attention and love so please spare some for him when you’re there !

We had a great view there to enjoy some wine and the sunset.
Would recommend!

Note: the owner was chill but ripped us off because we gave him 500ps and he said “he didn’t have change so if he could give it back to us later” When we came back later he gave us mixed pesos and US$ but definitely not enough as we saw later on. So better to have the 250p straight so he can’t rip you off.

Nice free parking on a quiet street. Just a 10 minutes walk to some good restaurants, brewery, ice cream shop. But the train is so so loud, and come multiple times in the middle of the night. Just be prepared

Couldn’t find other sites but near them a faint track off to the right before the road drops down into dry river bed. Follow the track towards concrete water storage tanks, it drops down into river bed then out again then back down into river bed and camped there. Surrounded by mountains. No shelter

Public parking without overnight restrictions, next to public beach. We were disturbed by two individuals who fought all night, probably high on something. Store owner across the street isn’t against people parking there for the night but says some people abuse from it and stay there for days. A new house is being built next to the parking, I imagine they may have more objections. Too bad to see people leave garbage behind.

Quiet spot. I really enjoyed camping out surrounded by all the tall trees. It was a good place to sleep before leaving out early for Skylight Cave. Similar to other mentioned service providers, T-Mobile service came and went, but mostly I had no service.

Stunning elevated spot above the river with views all around. A few fire pits and room for multiple vehicles.
Drive through the gravel pit on the Easy side at top of hill and keep going. Track is very rocky, I used low range.
View incredible at sunset!!

Good for a nightstop. Large area at the side of the trail in the National Forest land. A river can be heard but not seen due to dense bushes. There may be better spaces further up the trail into the forest, but we just wanted quick night stop so didn't look further. Just a fire ring, no other facilities. Free.

Turn off for Davie Lake Rd is not marked. If you’re heading northbound on Hwy 97 from Bear Lake it is the first left after Davie Muskeg FSR. No Rec sign until you reach the actual Rec,we stayed to the right at the fork, the left goes up to private cabins. Family oriented campground. Large sites (10-12) with plenty of room and a few tents sites. 2 pit toilets ,that are kinda run down. Some highway and train noise but distant. Epic sunsets here. Fresh free water at the gas station in Bear Lake, right by the picnic tables and garbage cans.
Cheers

Good spot indeed. Follow the instructions below of oldies to camp right next to the lake. Beautiful view in the morning. We arrived at 6h10pm and were still allowed in. We only paid 2 usd for two persons and a car (probably because we said we would be leaving before 9am the next morning). Noise from Panam is not too bad (and we’re in a pop-up camper).

Once you approach the off dirt road, you do need off road capabilities. There are tons of potholes and large boulders. But once you get there, very spacious and room for multiple rigs. Table is dismembered.

Sehr empfehlenswert

I contacted David by email to let him know and we got a response within few hours. We didn't meet but was able to park on the street and sleep. It's near a busy road but with earplugs it's pretty manageable. Thx to him for that
