we wanted to stay here ...but big but ...the whole place is under construction! So it was not possible to stay ....also going in and out of Ayacucho is a nightmare! If some day they finish the remodified maybe is a good option for those wo like to visit cities.

Used the Sani-dump. No charge, worked out OK. I'm sure this can get crowded on a Sunday afternoon 'cause I think it's the last place to dump as you head into Vancouver.

This area is so beautiful! Tons of free camping opportunities right near the water. We didn’t go down to the water due to blue/green algae signs and we have dogs. Should clear up quickly I assume as weather cools down. People were still swimming all over but we can’t risk that with pups. At this particular spot you get your own covered/partly walled picnic area with benches and a metal fire ring. Would definitely come back! Great AT&T service and also trash on site which is so rare and awesome.

Well, this campground is too expensive
payed $200 for 1 day.
But at least we had a place to stay for the night plus coffee mugs and coffee for free.

The Sand Creek public access area is near Beulah Wyoming. it is about two miles off of I-90 at the Beulah exit going South. There are four places in the Sand Creek public access area where camping is permitted. There are pit toilets in all four. There are some fire rings but not at all possible camping sites. Each of the four places have multiple camping sites. The third place in has room for at least 10 vans and was the largest of the for places. 5 day camping limit.

Very nice campground, clean & modern pit toilets. Still $6 in 2022 which is awesome. Water with a manual pump is also on the campground but the water needs to be filtered as it contains impurities and the color is not clear.

As described. Beautiful spot! We made it up with a CX-5 pulling a small trailer. Worth the trip.

Passamos 2 noites. Água, luz, churrasqueiras, bom banheiros e excelentes chuveiros. Pagamos 900 pesos 2 pessoas + motorhome (desconto por estarmos em turma). Preço normal seria 1250 pesos.

As previously described- BUT we had a park ranger knock on our door around 9pm saying they didn’t allow overnight parking, though he allowed us to stay since we were leaving in the morning.

Nice little spot near an ATV Route all gravelroad but not a problem with a small car. Stayed one night before going to sleeping giant park.
Follow the Road on the left after the small restaurant and than left again.
For one small car or Van. Quiet night. would stay again

Bautiful spot, right at the water and had a nice swim.
Has everything you need. A bit noisy due to the Highway but didn't bother me.

Stayed at the Northbound rest stop.
Fine for a night! The highway did surprisingly quiet down after 9pm on a weeknight.
Park furthest away from the large dumpster in the truck/camper parking area. The trash was overflowing and saw a few rats. 🤢

Très bon endroit pour dormir, tranquille, toilettes, très bon restaurant pas très loin (the flats bistro) et la vue sur le volcan (redoubt) et quelques autres par temps clair est fantastique.

Site is situated on the outskirts of Palau de cerdagne, very close to the boarders of Spain and Andorra in the pyrenees. Its a quiet well maintained site with very friendly staff.

Big big hotel with 2 swimming pools, restaurant and bar. Although the camping area is a bit abandoned, just a piece of land they don’t use so you can camp there. Wifi doesn’t reach our van and 60 sol for 2 is to much. Hotel facilities are perfect. So we used the toilets there. The toilet close to the camping was not clean at all.
