Great parking space. We parked far away from the store and main parking. Our large rig plus trailer fit just fine with plenty of turn around space. The store has tons of chocolates, jams, some fresh produce, ice cream, gelato and things to eat. I got the Asian salad and it was delicious and hubs had enchiladas. Very good. They close at 8 so we will venture back in for ice cream later. Great stoping off place for the night. |

Nice place but remember to stop at the Lemons dump station to empty your tank and refill potable water. No dump station nor potable water at Trout River campground. |

This site gets busy on a weekend during the hot season. A lot of river floaters traffic makes the dust fly. A little quieter during the week. Good shade and cold water to escape the heat. |

An absolute, rare, gem of a spot deep in the north woods. Moderately level, somewhat close to Lima Mtn Road, which is not a busy road even on a busy day. Vans or tents only. |

2 fire rings on somewhat level ground off the right hand side at the back of a gravel pit BEHIND the massive gravel pit. Stayed here 2 nights, didn't see any sign of life other than BWCA'ers driving back to the entry point. Not sure how often trucks come to get gravel. I was here on a weekend. Enjoy and stay stealth, my friends. |

Amazing garage especially for land rovers and 4wd, but also for other vehicles too! we came here after our china crossing because of a rattling sound and the mechanic Davaa was able to diagnose the issue in under a minute, despite us not speaking the same language. They also found a bunch of other maintenance issues and fixed them without much hassle and at a very reasonable price. we also ended up painting out car (Durian) here too! other vehicles from our china entourage also came to the workshop and the mechanics were able to recondition a broken Citroen water pump and steering rod, fix leaking rims of a Peugeot camper as well as do the typical oil change and servicing for a Mazda. very friendly place - we camped in our cars and also had access to water too. |

Great spot. plenty of height clearance for out 38 ft motorhome. Nice and clean. Fire pits. picnic tables. Easy access. Toilets with paper. Arrived Wed and it was quiet. Thurs and Frid it filled up quickly around 4 til 5pm. Acess to river is everywhere. There are pull throughs or drive in. more smaller spots than for big rigs like ours. Plus we tow a full size jeep. |

Very beautiful place, some garbage as expected, but not too bad. One of the two rivers is clean enough to take a bath, clean dishes or filter water. Nice leveled places for at least a dozen of cars and more tents. The old train station has a café and a small shop with very friendly people. |

beautiful view, but the road up is quite narrow and steep with plenty of hairpin turns. there's lots of spots to pull off on the way up to this larger pull off. the view of the ocean is great and the sunrise was unforgettable. |

I've stayed here 3 non consecutive nights with no problems. Tonight I've moved across to the last block of Main Street with several other RV's. I'm in minivan and this place is not nearly as quiet or private as the dog park, so I think I'll move back over there before the gate locks. I recommend the cliff walk too! |

Firefighters let me sleep in one of the rooms the have. Could use the kitchen and showers with no problem. Very kind and friendly people. I was cycling. Los bomberos me dejaron dormir en uno de los cuartos que tienen. Pude usar la cocina y las duchas sin problema. Gente muy buena y amigable. Estaba viajando en bicicleta. |

Superbe halte, merci La Patrie ! |

We were looking for a place to camp and everything else was booked across Carmel and Big Sur, so we gave this a try. It took us 30+ minutes up and very dusty dirt road and once we arrived, the bugs were apparent, and this campground did not have any view as we were hoping for its location. After a quick walk around to sus it out, we agreed we could do better and did not stay here. I read the reviews and agree that the bugs were insane, with biting insects that swarm you immediately. We now call this area fly mountain. If you do try this spot, be prepared with bug nets. Do not recommend tent camping. |

Beautiful spot with a nice view over the area. Accessible via a dirt road and the grass is accessible via a track, I would recommend 4x4. Some campfire spots in the area but no one was around during our stay. 2 car passed by on the dirt road but they gave us a friendly wave. Had a very quite night. Good 4G Turk Telecom. |
