Honestly, best KOA I’ve ever stayed at, and we’ve stayed at plenty over the years. We’re in a van, our site, #6, is right next to the river. It’s super quiet and peaceful. CLEAN, hot and high pressured shower (I recommend 1st stall in W’s, it’s a new shower head)
Campground is among the trees, nestled between mountains. A perfect stopover or longer stay. Wi-Fi (only really works at office/lounge) & 2 bars LTE. Also, highly recommend the Lazy Dog Saloon in Ridgeway for dinner. Close to Telluride.

We took water with very good pressure from the WC / toilets on the parking slot left from the barrier. We parked our track in order not to be seen while taking water.

Currently shut off for the season until the city turns it on. It’s owned and maintained by the city, not the gas station.

Basic parking lot, pretty quiet. Camped here a couple of times with my van without any problems. Not sure it would be good for big rvs.
Please keep clean:)

A river crossing is OK n the dry season.. You will require a 4x4. Do not risk the crossing in a 4x2 you will not make it.

We enjoyed our stay with the brothers so much! They are so friendly and welcoming. Had dinner with them for two evenings. The second evening I cooked some vegetable soup to share with everyone as a thank you. They showed us their garden - really nice!! They grow most of their fruit, vegetables and herbs themselves. They indeed didn't want any donation or money. It's a lovely place to spend some time.

Very clean, quiet and well-lit rest area along I-90. I stayed one night on my way from Niagara Falls to Michigan. Had zero issues in my sedan and saw others in their cars and vans. Lots of spots so you don’t have to squeeze next to someone and space around the back for big rigs, like buses. The facility is open 24/7 and is very clean. Inside has toilets, tables and a small exhibit. A nice, free place to camp.

Grand stationnement.

Good climbing spot with quite a variety of routes between 4a and 7b. In the sun during the day, so perfect for autumn/ winter days. Parking is on a pullout of the main road. You definitely cannot drive down to the crag with any vehicle!!! I'd not recommend to overnight in the pullout - it's very close to the frequented road with lots of trucks also during night. There are better spots nearby.

Quiet location with nice tables to eat at, trash cans available, and non potable water fountains. The visitor center has nice bathrooms as well. The stop is elevated which came in handy as there was a flash flood the night I slept here. I’d recommend it for sure, my only gripe being that you can only stay parked here for ONE NIGHT

This campground was great! As of today, there is water available but not potable - awaiting testing. There are many beautiful trails to hike nearby, and a variety of 30 spots to choose from. They campsites will accommodate any size rig, or multiple tents on the very generously-sized tent pads.

$15 per night, and they accept America The Beautiful passes, as well as senior and access passes, taking it down to $7.50 per night.

There is a dump station at the entrance/exit, with rinse water only.

2 bars Verizon, other spots had bars but service came and went. This one was consistent enough to work with. Stayed one evening before swimming at the river and going further north.

Everything in previous reports remains true - awesome visit and well worth the money and time. Still 120 pesos. For 240 pesos you can go zipping here. Three lines total, with one about 500m long!
Note that anything larger than a Sprinter van would probably have trouble going up this road - it's narrow. We intend to post a video on IG and/or YouTube showing the road up (search Twonie Project).

Beautiful wild camping spot. Direct at the river on gravel. Plenty of space. A bit windy, but gorgeous. Lonely and quiet, you hear just the river.

The bike shop offers showers for $7 for 7 minutes. They give you a token. The water never really got hot for me so I can’t say I recommend this spot. Only went here because Zion outfitters showers were closed.
