Difficult for a big rig to get in, gate entry is small. We slept at the tourist office instead.

Great camping spot! Very quiet and peaceful (it rained and that drove away the people with speakers). Rocky river shore and easy river access. No road noise.

Some farmland away from the main road and close to the highway.

Beautiful sunset. No mosquitoes. No locals. No stray dogs.

No reachable for high rigs! Due to powerlines over the entry road. 2.5

There is a small food truck with super friendly Palestine guy who makes the best falafel in America. He makes kabab basbusa (which is sweet ) and of course falafel. The good is sooo good, highly recommend😋

Very nice facility with a kitchen, pool, camping, rooms, and a large open area for eating, hanging out, or drinking at the bar. They technically have Wi-Fi, but it slow to the point of being unusable.

Hot showers upon request, they just need to light a fire under the geyser.

Usd$10 for a single person camping.

So first You'll drive up the mountain on a paved road for like 15 minutes and then hit a dirt road. At this time of year all the snow is melting and made the dirt road all muddy. We got stuck with our Mercedes sprinter, 2WD. Had to have a jeep pull us out of the mud. I do not recommend at this time of year. The way up looks amazing and I wish this spot worked out cause the views are amazing. You should be fine if you have a truck or jeep with 4WD.

Pulled in around 8pm and left around 7am without any issues. Not a great site but it worked for a night. Very dirty and more traffic than you would think, but overall quiet and trouble free. No service.

This little town/square is so weird and cool. Constant water filling pools throughout the whole place. This GPS location was the best spot to park for finding a flat, level area. The viewpoint for sunset. 25 pesos per person to get into this area. He wanted to charge us for the next day, but we said we were leaving early. He told us that the ticket guy makes his rounds at 7am and we’d have to pay for another day if we were still there. We stayed til 8:30am, nobody came around.

The parking was full and far to small for a big rig. We didn't like this city on a sunday. Nothing to see, nothing to do, nobody there. We left for the coast.

Heaven! This lovely hostel has a small parking lot for a van or two with panoramic views of the highlands farms around Isinliví. The staff are wonderful, it is immaculately clean, there are both running water and composting toilets. $13/pp gives you access to all facilities including breakfast and dinner at the community tables. ($7 without food) We enjoyed the jacuzzi, steam room and dry sauna for $5/pp/hr which made for a relaxing Mother’s Day! The only thing: couldn’t ever get a truly HOT shower.

We wanted to stop here for a coffee or tea in the restaurant. The people at the entrance door wanted 5$ entrance fee and were very impolite. Unfortunately I can not recommend this place.

There aren’t really camping facilities, but you are allowed to park in the back with permission. It seems they’re not too bothered if it’s the off season.

As described, good for one night, but not a lot of space to the sides of your vehicle, the cars drive by pretty close. Got quiet at night and nobody bothered us. Gorgeous sunset!

Stayed in front of the gates (nobody closed it at night) for one night without any issues. Gorgeous view, you hear the traffic on the bridge and some crazy loud animals at night.

No rope tolls to get out here and the dirt road is in great shape. Super quiet night. We were all alone and hanging out with just the bugs at night. No mosquitos in the daytime in May. Nobody there to charge us anything either in the evening or the morning. We picked up a trash bag full of garbage. Always trying to leave it better than we found it. Beautiful place. Easy to drive down the rest of the dirt road to the footbridge over to the falls. Walk the loop trail. It’s worth it! Had lunch at the restaurant and walked around the falls. Amazing falls all over the place.

The road is now fully paved all the way up to the overlook at the top. Cars were still coming up to the top until about 11pm on a Sunday night but was quiet until morning. A cop made a lap later at the night and didn’t say anything. Incredible sunset views!
