Excellent pizza with GF plantain crust— the whole family loved it. Wonderful service! The restaurant is called Coco’s Green Cafe- if the location is still wrong in iO, enter the name in Google Maps and you’ll find it.

The place is really nice, Todd is a great guy. You can stay for free in a small rig in the dry camping area (parking lot of the brewery) or pay for full hook ups (one spot). Beers are really good, truffled fried and pretzel same. Didnt try the wings because im a vegetarian. He accepts tarjetas. I decided to stay here and not at the camping in the other side of town because here you can walk to town, while the camping is on the highway. They have wifi but there’s no showers for guests, I used my own from my camper. Anyway, great place for a few nights, make sure to buy some beers so it makes sense for Todd to keep hosting us.

pulled right up with motorcycle and was asked for carnet, handed him my Chilean motorcycle padrón (ownership document) and he looked confused as he walked over to computer. told him está bien sin factura si es más fácil and he filled up directly in tank for local price

This spot is one of our favourites we have ever stayed at! Don’t go down to the lower beach unless you have driven through sand before and in a 4x4.

The water is raising a ft. A day and it’s pretty warm and calm for SUP. Love it here!!

not a lot of shade in the early evening, otherwise similar to most other rest areas, I was tempted to do a bit of backtracking and hit the southbound rest area. Google maps listed an 18 minute drive time from here to there. 3 bars of Verizon

I came to check this spot out, but realized that the road circles around a cemetery which is why I didn’t stay (silly I know, but they creep me out!)

That said, there are multiple pullouts on the side of the small road that goes around the island that would be perfect for a night or two!

This is a pullout on the side of the dirt road that leads to the other iOverlander pin! I opted for this spot just because the island is actually a cemetery which spooked me haha

I have a small ford transit connect but this space could definitely fit a larger sprinter, camper or even tent!

There were a few of cans littering the area but it was an easy cleanup :)

Awesome place for big rigs, large parking lot near the beach park. Clean toilets, while we were here there was no one in sight, so nice and private.

The barrier was closed when we arrived and for entering we were asked for a voluntary contribution. We gave 5$. The place is very peaceful. Policeman came in the evening to tell us they were leaving but told us where to find them if needed.

Aucune indication empêchant d'y demeurer la nuit, tranquille, bucolique, je pense que c'est pour VR max 24 pieds. Peu d'espaces de stationnement, c'est pas un Walmart.

Very nice spot for a couple days. Close to entrance of national park. Plenty of flat spots along this road and it has great Verizon service. The road is slightly bumpy with a small incline but any vehicle should make it.

Immediately right after crossing the bridge to Kaien Island. Next to the road, but nice sea view and close to Prince Rupert. There’s a firepit. Spent one night here with our 26 ft truck camper without any trouble. Langer rigs might have trouble turning.

Absolutely beautiful view! Highly recommend this campspot. Lake and volcano are stunning. We camped by the kiosk close to the flag, and they set up string lights in the kiosk for us at night. It wasn’t too windy when we were there.
WiFi is only available from 9-6 near reception. Check out is at 11am. There’s a late check out option (6pm). We didn’t ask how much it is. Showers and bathrooms are clean. No trash disposal.

An awesome campsite with about 10 tent spots and 10 RV pull in spots, all with water hookups but no electric. Has an awesome lake you can fish in with permits for sale on site. Great little hikes and bridges that make it fun to roam around. Spent 3 nights here and loved it. $15-20 per night but 100% worth it.

Crossed from Iran to Turkey. I arrived around midday and there was no waiting queue. The whole process took me 45 minutes. People where very friendly everywhere. I negotiated with a fixer to pay him 6 million Rial, around 10 €.
Had to pay 3,5 million Rial for the fuel for my bike. At the last station on the iranian side the officer asked for 2 million Rial without receipt.
Nothing special on the Turkish side.

Isaac is a great host here. however, don't expect the price to be 75Q any more. it was raised to 100Q for small campers a few months ago. And as of this week, they raise the price 50% to 150Q. Also they are now charging for extra people including kids over 9. We stayed for 7 days a week a go for 100Q a night. Now it will cost us 225Q a night. Unfortunately it loses all of the appeal at this price. There is only 1 toilet to share with everyone there. there is no toilet paper or light in the bathroom so you will be in the dark after the sun goes down. As others said, there is no hot water so only cold shower there. All of that was worth it when the price was reasonable but at more than double now, I would not recommend staying here. There are lots of rules as well like no hammocks, no roaming around the grounds when there is an event and no hanging cloths to dry in certain times of the day. If they are going to charge like they are a high end campground, they need amenities like higher end campgrounds have. they simply don't. there are too many compromises you have to deal with at the current pricing. we are not going to be staying there any more unfortunately.

Great spot for a night. Pretty close and in view of houses nearby. Right opposite a church parking lot. Felt quite exposed to be honest, and we didn't want to bother any locals so stayed in the van at all times. Some dog walkers and joggers in the evening and early morning. Nice area to walk your dog. Wouldn't stay more than 1 night, and not into the day. Would not put chairs/table out.

Condition of location similar to what was described in earlier posts, but table and fire ring are overgrown and did not use. Agree that turn-around here for larger rigs would be difficult. No known visitors during the evenings. Walmart and local stores available.

What a great pit stop. Yes, there is a waterfall, but so much more. Children's playground with a Zipline and many trails to wander around and explore. There are multiple freshwater springs and one large pool. Suspension bridges, getting soaked by the waterfall mist, and even though the sign says no dogs, there was no problem bringing ours in. Most trails are in Gaia so it is a good reference. There are a few restaurants and tiendas inside too. Cost is now $.50 per person.
