Was only going to stay 2 night but loved it so much I extended for 2 more. There is power and great drinking water at the beach sites. Really lovely. If you think this is expensive, check out Tofino!

This road around the lake is blocked by a gate indicated as Protected Area. To the left of the gate is a large lawn-like area with a few fire pits and surrounding trees for shelter and firewood. The closed gate means there is no passing traffic and I spent three nights in solitude with nature. A couple of cars drove up to tge gate but immediately turned round and left. There is no sign indicating no through road until arriving at the gate.
I drank the lake water without any health issues. I also left the camp unattended to pick up groceries at the store at the end of the road in the town. It's a perfect spot for relaxing.
Along the lake shore, there are plenty of waterside options for camping but they seemed a bit more visible, although I saw no traffic.

dormimos una sola noche. bastante tranquilo de día pero a la noche se llenó de gente, con autos y motos haciendo ruido y corriendo. al día siguiente nos avisó tránsito que no podíamos dormir.

we slept just one night. noisy, a lot of people's with music and your cars making noise until late in the night. next day Transit agent tell us than we can't spend the night here.

Nice campsite close to lake conguillio. Seems like private bathrooms for each space. First day we were here some toilets didn't flush and all the water was cold. Second day our showers were hot and the toilet was flushing again.
Electricity on solar panels so the lighting is limited.

In the off season it seems to be free since the reception is closed.

We didn't dare cross the second creek with our small rented car two kilometers before the campsite (+-30 cm deep water). Que lastima.
But there are good wild camping options a bit further on the 63.

Fey was very accommodating. The place was decent, clean, well-equiped and well looked after. Everything we needed for our way up to Namibia.

Industrial zone across the road from Sacramento Executive Airport. Plenty of free parking for vehicles of all sizes along Belleau Wood Ln, Thiery Rd, 47th Ave and the west side of Freeport Blvd down to the entrance of Maloney golf course. Obviously there are some long-term campers here already but plenty of room to spread out for privacy. Sacramento Police Department is just a few blocks down the road. A nice, new 24 hour Arco gas station conveniently located here.

Great views. Was quiet early in the season, only one other site taken. biggest mosquitos I've ever seen. Easily accessible.

It was nice. The new owner was there. Bought the campsite because he is a miner and they are starting a mining project in the neighbourhood. The site was okay but there were no monkeys anymore and hardly any birds. Also lots of the flowers were gone and replaced by bananatrees. We were there too in 2019. Then it was more lush. We also visited the monument of Swartbooisdrift. It is nearby.

We loved our stay in Sedia. The campings spots are in the back but no river view. There are many shade areas and in most of the sights you have the power station, and few ones you have a big shelter with a sink. Ablutions are pretty clean and showers are great, only thing is that is at entrance of camping area so it can get bit far from the spots (100, 200 meters). Price is 120 pulas pp, what is a lot less than Audi Camping (180 pp). The pool area is really amazing, refreshing big pool with comfortable chairs (only 6 of them for all lodge and camping guests). Wifi is free and fast and staff is really helpful. Excelent option in Maun (where some simple Guesthouse is around 1600 pula the room).

Nice place with friendly staff. Beautiful pool with bar and restaurant. Food was okay. Resort does have beach access unlike what someone previously stated. When we were there, it rained pretty heavily and the power went out several times so we just cuddled up inside our van all day drinking hot chocolate we still had from Mexico... 😀

not the biggest fan of this campsite but it was handy to have the toilets and running water (and free drinkable water) in the middle of Death Valley.
lots of people seem to sleep there.
it's 14$ full price, 7$ half-price. Paid half price and nobody even checked our ticket ..

Road in good shape, some puddles toward end. Able to access with our trailer no problem (HQ15). Lots of open spots, including up road away from beach to get out of wind.

Very quiet campground. Right by cliff dwellings. Pit toilets, no cell signal for Verizon, water pump was on and good for drinking water. Camp host was so inviting and helpful. Free. Had 7 vehicles the night I stayed. Nice stars despite lots of moonlight.

Fantastic spot for the views! No facilities and little cover for toilet breaks and this spot is not completely flat, but has incredible sunsets and sunrises. Definitely recommend this if you fancy driving through the mountains or after visiting the Termas nearby.
Great 4g Movistar and Claro signal
Please help keep the area clean.

Fairly costly sites, $70+ for full hookups, 20/30/50 amp, water and sewer, patio and furniture, BBQ and fire pit. Prices may be lower for sites that are less well equipped. This KOA does have amenities that vary from nice and well executed to needing some improvements. We were camped in the patio site area, which is all pull-thru with, with concrete patios, table and chairs, glider rocker, fire pit and Webber gas grill. The site was in perfect condition when we arrived. Hookups were in good working order and not worn out or trashed. The pool and hot tub were not online due to the date of our visit, pool and hot tub operate from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Bathroom and laundry facilities (Comfort Stations), were newer structures, in good working condition, clean and appeared to get maintenance throughout the day. The bathrooms at the main office were not open as they were being remodeled. Kids playground is equipped with modern equipment and had my daughter enthralled with it for most of the time were were camped there. On-site coffee hut was also not open this time of year, with operating season similar to pool and hot tub.

Staff was very friendly, and they run about the place on "gators" throughout the day doing incidental maintenance. Garbage service is provided to all sites, just put your trash out at the edge of your site between 8am and 6pm and they will pick it up and whisk it away.

Overall layout of the campground is odd. The entry to the campground has changed in the past few years, so be aware that you enter the campground from Zelt Strassee and not Riverbend Dr. The new entry to the campground bisects the new pull-thru patio sites. The old, but remodeled, main office is at the back of the property, so be aware and follow the directional signs as you come in.

Took a cursory look at the cabins they rent. They have a lot of the older electric, no plumbing cabins, which all seemed to be rented out while we were there, but they have many new cabins, which have kitchens and bathrooms in them, along with some with lofts and high ceilings.

We will come again as this place really was great for kids, and for the entertainment value it provided our daughter, along with the quality of the site, it was hard to beat.

Good place to stay for one night. Bumpy road, but it's fine if you drive carefully. For breakfast we went to another spot we found on this app, I would recommend as a more beautiful place once you get up and going.

Came here because all beaches to the north were packed (on a Friday), believe we were the only campers here all weekend. Free. Entrance at km marker 84. Thanks to the campers who bush-wacked for big rigs to get in! Spots are private from each other and have beach access. Most spots are perfect for vans to back into, not many spots for rv/trailers. Rocky beach and some weeds, but was perfect for our dogs to be off-leash and play in the water. Saw a couple yellow scorpions at night. When snorkeling saw stingrays and starfish! Careful when it’s wet, saw lots of old ruts from people sinking in. Little to no garbage…let’s keep it that way :) Enjoy!
