parakeetsteve | Dispersed camping sites along Grouse Ridge road. We were able to access the lower sites with a sedan, SUV or larger will be needed to access higher when snow is on the ground. |

bluejayway | If you stay here, be sure to drive up the road a bit to find a good spot! At the beginning of the road there is lots of trash and broken glass as previously mentioned. Plus everyone seems to congregate and crowd in down at that location. Up the road at the spot I have found is perfect, no trash, no glass, just beautiful Joshua trees and mountains. Get here with daylight on your side to scout out a good spot and this place is fantastic. I would certainly stay here again. |

bluejayway | Is $35 a night now for dry camping. Is nothing fancy at all. But pretty good. The hot baths are fantastic and definitely left me feeling rejuvenated. They also had a live band in the evening the night I stayed here which was pretty cool and certainly unexpected. The view from the dry camping area is beautiful. Everything else is as previously described, a few cool things to look at while staying here and bistro that serves food. |

Adriaan&Isabelle | A good compromise between accessibility and Interstate 10 noise. Good for one night. A single other vehicle (an iOverlander?) pulled in, saw us, and opted for another (noisy!) spot. Thanks for allowing us privacy! The trail will lead into the park and join the pavement of the park boulevard very close to the visitors center, where they sell passes. We would have driven the trail that if we knew beforehand. |

Adriaan&Isabelle | Easy to find: there's a single Joshua Tree. A bit further east, closer to the hills, there are more spots. Strong winds this afternoon and a lot of sand in the air south of here. Decided to leave after one hour since we did not want to be in a sandstorm if the wind shifted a little. |

BeingHumanRV | Just drove by this and it’s roped off. Not sure if it’s just because it’s winter kind of or it’s closed forever. |

a17guyen | Great spot to spend the night! We arrived around midnight and found a shoulder to park. Both lots to the right and left from the main BLM road were full. It wasn’t until the morning that we saw a no camp sign where we were at. We could have parked right next to another car but wanted to give others space. We left around 4 am. Everything was fairly flat and leveled. We had minimal T-mobile service. It’s fairly quiet with the occasional in and out traffic. |

hannokolvenbach | didn't stay here, but they had a guy at the entrance of the village handing out pamphlets about this place. when I politely declined he just threw it into the open drivers window. super rude, so we will definitely not support this business. |

ma.choquette | We asked customer service if it was okay to stay and they said “Yes, but if police come by, they’ll throw you out”. So we stay. Without problem. Only things is there’s few homeless wandering around the parking lot all night, but weren’t bothered. The whole parking felt gloomy. |

traventureside.wixsite.com | Easiest border crossing ever. Leaving Panama took about 5mins. Re-entering Costa Rica I asked if I could get more time on my visa and tip (stupidly I only asked for 30 days my first entry), and both gave me a fresh 90 days hassle-free |

ben | Host was extremely helpful. We arrived early in the season, and place has just been reorganized. Still unlimited hot showers, sani dump, but no wifi or laundry. We walked to the laundromat in town. All site booking must now be done online through website and tent sites are 25$ and serviced sites are 32$ and there is a 3$ booking fee. Tent sites are truly tent only ( not drive in ) and serviced sites quite narrow. We were visited by deer! |

doerte | Amazing place. Could stay at the road with our van and sleep inside, very safe area.
When we went to Kuelap they even took care of our dog and when he ran away they immediately followed him and took him back.

MiniMotoChica | THIS PLACE IS AWESOME FOR BIG BIKES & BMWs. I initially reached out to the KTM Dealership but was referred here since they did not have the filter for my moto. Jorge arranged a time with me the next day and although he had never seen a Husqvarna like mine, he recognized the rotax engine and checked to make sure everything was running well before I left. It was very affordable and his wife sent me a bunch of photos of us and the motos. They are such lovely people. I am grateful that we had the opportunity to meet them & support their business! |

dieselbeast.the.bus | Perfect spot, close enough to the road to be easily accessed by vehicles of all sizes. Flat and 2wd friendly. Nice trees and fire pit. Cell service comes and goes. Could fit one big camper or several vans. A small trail from the site leads to even better mountain views! |

roypoloi | Very quite parking near the forest. Fits big rigs too & more or less level. Good for 1-2 days near Saarbrücken. The town nearby (Dudweiler) also has great cheap public swimming pool. |

Douglas Green | NO WATER here. Not even water to flush the black tank...there is a spigot, but no water. Attendant confirmed there is NO water here. They still charged $10 to dump. It is NOT pull-through. You will want a spotter for backing out again, if you have a trailer. It LOOKS like it is locked, but the lock was only on the lid, not fully in place. We paid anyhow. |
Loves Truck Stop | 33.71728, -116.17068
Douglas Green | Yes, there is a water spigot. Nobody would say it is potable, in fact, everyone we asked said 'I wouldn't drink it'. We decided not to chance it. Ended up driving WAY out of our way to the Lake Cahuilla RV park. They charged us $20 just to fill with water. At least the water seems fine. |

RCB | Pulled in around 10PM. Got the last RV spot, but others were parked in other areas of the parking lot. Probably about a dozen or so RVs and a couple trucks. A little road noise but not too bad. Recommended. |

joselita100destino | Quiet place to spend the night, close to the tourist information center. It has toilets (no bath) and drinking water. Local tranquilo para passar a noite, próximo ao centro de informações turísticas. Tem banheiros (não tem banho) e água potável. |
Praça São João Batista | -29.61542, -53.44561
hayley.wieduwilt | Pretty nice established campground at Lea Lake. Sites have full hookups and Lea Lake is perfect for kayaking or paddle boarding. We did wish there was more to see with the lakes, as it only took us about 30 minutes to see all of them, but it’s close to Roswell and the alien themed stuff was fun for the day! |
