cindyhasler | Little price but no didactic signs or explanation, hard to understand the history behind the fort. Much better Jebreen castle located a few km away (3 OMR p/p included audio guide) |

me | Just down the street from the library there’s apartments on one side and construction on the other. We parked in the construction side with no problem. Fairly quiet. Works for a van, wouldn’t recommend anything bigger. No parking restrictions listed here and you blend in nicely. There’s also an outdoor bathroom at the peet coffee shop across from the library, and of course a nice bathroom in the library when that opens. |

sblackshaw49 | One of several parking areas off the main highway. The one we slept in bordered a bayou and was pretty trashy. We filled a trash bag, by way of showing our appreciation. It was surprisingly empty and quiet on a Friday night. |

vanlife-vanstrife | Super nice shower in the family bathroom in the lobby! Maybe their hours were adjusted. Usually they dont open til 4pm but had extended hours this week due to kids’ spring break. Hours posted on their website. Their cleaning products smell like apple pie. Very positive shower experience. |

Jimmytravelsaround | great man, he helped us with a few problems we had. we only paid 4000 Pesos (18 US$) for almost half day of searching the problem. unfortunately we couldn't solve it (However, nobody could solve it so far;-). A friend of us who was at the same day there, paid the same and he solved his problem with a broken valve. |

Mark Westermeier | I've stayed at this location at least 12 times during the past 15 years, the trail in isn't as good but if you take it slow not bad at all. I've tent camped and earlier this year took my teardrop trailer to this location, like my jeep it has about 12 inches of clearance. Cell signal on At&t is spotty, but is decent with a cell booster unless there are a lot of other campers in the area. |
