Great lake side campsites. At some point in June, expect swarms of mosquitoes at sites next to Lake, so go in May and it's awesome.

Federal public land as Bureau of Reclamation, and does not require Washington discover pass.

Magnolia road is a beautiful drive, don’t let the steepness scare you from this amazing camp site. Even if there are other campers you are far enough away from them that they aren’t a bother but if you want to hang out with them it’s close enough for that too. Recommend vans and trucks.

Everything as described- we just want to be on this fan page too! Great food, wifi, beer (try the wheat beer) and hosts. Thank you Jason, his son and Alvin for being most hospitable.

Unlimited quiet places along river, cycling/running trail runs between carpark and water. No facilities but no signs limiting parking. About 40 minute walk into city. Very popular with RV's but the spots are only 6 metres deep so we turned sideways. Recommended.

Wonderfully located place in nature. Snow mountains around. We are one day the only visitors here (end of May). Our place is right on the river. One outhouse present. Road to the campground is in good condition. Very close to the trail to the Thompson waterfall (also very nice). We clear up the empty beer cans as a thank you for this great free nights. Probably from Victoria Long Weekend. Hey guys, why don't you take your garbage with you?

Quiet spot to spend the night near the city. Along with my truck camper there was one van and two tents. There were porta-potties. Busy with locals during afternoon/evening but empties out at night.

Better stay there in summer, otherwise You and your vehicle got frozen. There are small Towns near at 3500 m, mucho better yo stay.

Great place. Really quiet view beautifullake views. Lots of space. The gravel road leading up to this place is in good condition. We were alone at our spot.

stood here for 3 nights with 7 m a motorhome. place for any size of motorhome. with clean toilets negotiated for 150 mex. night with two persons.
the parking opposite is the brother with the same price but not so nice for us.
the second on the left didn't allowed to stay overnight any more.

They no longer accept overnight guests.

Spent the night camped by the river. No traffic noise, the sound of the river is peaceful. There is a new no camping sign up though.

On these coordinates is absolutely NOTHING! And we couldn’t find an insurance office anywhere in the small city 🤷🏼‍♀️

This place is surrounded by huts now. There are places to camp everywhere. Because of the increased of the water levels from 2020
the tracks along the lake are not like you will find them on the map. Nice drive, beautiful landscape.

Safe and away from the road

This is indeed a great spot. If you arrive at dark it could seem a bit spooky because of the abandoned large building. But during day the setting is absolutely lovely and quiet. No-one was there or bothered me. I have a roof top tent.
The Emen valley walk is not spectacular after the waterfall, you could return there. Very slippery when wet. The cave is super stinky and full of bats

Dry. Unfortunately the ranger told us it has water though there is clearly none when we got here. Only big bones left of giraffe carcass

Great views of the ocean, fishing boats and lighthouse out each window of our van. Drove up to the small parking lot by the lighthouse where there is a flat spot right on the edge good for one van. The rest of the lot is sloped. Locals came by for sunset then left. We woke up to a bald eagle perched on the rocks.

Great spot. Basically in town, brewery and great coffee place basically onsite.

We had a quiet and peaceful night here. A really beautiful spot on the river. But very cold at -5 degrees. Even if you do not stay here, you should visit this unique little village.

A great place off the beaten path. We enjoyed the quiet. It was raining and mud was never a problem. Woke up the sound of Red headed woodpeckers and enjoyed our coffee.

Wonderful quite campsite direct at a white soft sanded beach. Perfect for kite surfers or surfers and/or beachers. Owner of the camp site charges 25€/ night including electricity. Slow mobile net at the camp site. Shower 50ct/ 3 minutes.

Site is absolutely amazing. B&B also available!!

Free dump with potable water available April 30-Oct 1. Dumpster as well. Just past the camp host on the left, look for a red and blue water pipe.

This place is awesomereerdeerrrddddddddrrrsseeddd! The pools were very clean and hot, especialy the small natural one. No one around at this time of year. We made it down here with lifted fully loaded VW T5 4x4. A small part was very steep but no problem to climb up again. We don't have low gear. But we were glad, no one came down because the road is very small and there is no bypass. The track is not bad but has a lot of stones and some small river crossings with steep dips. We touched our front and back bumper slightly. 4x4 recommend -;).

Very clean and well kept location right along the waterfront. It has 6 spots for longer vehicles as well as a large gravel parking area. There's picnic tables and garbage/recycling bins, as well as one toilet, which was unfortunately locked when we were there. Nice place to watch the sunset. Thanks very much to the municipality for this spot!

We made an unexpected trip down the west coast of Baja and stumbled over an awesome campground. Fidel’s el Pabellon RV camp popped up in iOverlander and we thought we would give it a try. Some of the signs are confusing with similar names but we finally found Fidel. There was no one else because we are at the tail end of the season. Fidel convinced us to camp right next to the new clubhouse. The clubhouse has two fire pits to cook up fish tacos. They have put a lot of work into the place and he predicts in 2-3 months it will be done with having water and power at each palapa. He has showers and toilets (now with doors) close by. The sand on the beach is super fine and soft.

We were there last Tuesday and it was like in old days. nice and quiet. The location of the site is beautiful, Sandra and the maintaince guy were very helpful and friendly and there a lot of renovation works done, it's a pity that the owners opened a bar with a loud music. Clean hot showers and restrooms, Wifi, nice palapas, laundry service.
