A big campsite with 2 rooms available, a lot of space for tents, tranquil area in the forrest. No running water but there's a well at the property. If you seek a hot shower the owner can warm water up for you. There's outdoor kitchen available too, fire pit, common area. Not far from the beach and some basic local épiceries. Supported by solar panels so safe from blackouts. Aly and Bas who run the campement are incredibly nice and helpful. Always happy to talk, advise and give you a lift if they're around. You feel yourself at home. Good to call in advance for coordinates (it's in the forest after all, there's no address :)).

Alternative hostel, run by a super friendly guy from Chile. Lots of dorm rooms, privates, there’s 2 kitchens as well as a rooftop with hammocks. We were only 4 people the 2 weeks I stayed so felt like a castle!

They want 300 per person per night! They're letting us stay in the shady parking lot for 150 each. The spots are nice, on the beach. All are big rigs.

Sometimes main tar road sign SANP Mokala Park Sign is missing, but need to go on big gravel road, past small settlement/shops, with big Fuel Station on left side. Go past +4 farm entrances, stay on straight big gravel road, to get to New Entrance Gate Building [2023] with Entry/Exit Arches. On exit from park, unfriendly vehicle searches. Good luxury chalets with Aircons, full view of river below [when there is water], nice swimming pool outside Office for camp residents only, [not day visitors!]. Nearby loop road not good for
animal sighting. Shop has little food to buy, [2023] but otherwise has nice maps/books. No camping, but good daytime fishing down 4x4 roads, need Permit from Office. [Summer 40C temp]

Quero agregar uma informação pessoal de uma experiência neste lugar.. Sou viajante e em 2017 leve uma Nissan Xterra para um revisão simples, pois acabava e comprar esse carro para viajar.. de primeira mão o mecânico retirou a roda traseira e quebrou uma peça do sistema de freio, me fazendo comprar a peça ai mesmo e pagar pela mão de obra, e depois condenou uma outra peça que me cobrou 1.000 reais e a pela peça e mão de obra.. siceramente eu moro próximo a e as lugar, e na eppca de o único lugar que trabalhava com diesel.. por isso ai fui, porém não recomendo.. talvez para alguma coisa mais simples e que você tenha bastante noção ou informação do que é necessário fazer..

Large Walmart. Not really any grass for dogs to go potty. I took them to some church across the street to let them run for minute. very busy area.

Not the type of spot we like camping in. Very crowded, lots of campground dogs and , unless you surf, not much going on. Noisy all the time. US$10 for no service. But if you like that - go for it. Easy access down a dirt road, 5 bars ATT. Local pub/restaurant is OK but overpriced.

Beautiful stay, arrived before dusk and set up a tent. Felt safe, nice and quiet. Doesn’t appear to be allot of room for multiple campers. We have a Volvo XC60 SUV and it made it up no prob. Amazing views.

Arrived here around 5:00pm and asked the police that were here if it was ok to spend the night here and they said no problem . Pretty loudly due to the highway running right next to it . Safe . Telcel 4g signal. Ok for one night.

Great location with views of the sand dunes. Lots of places to pull off and camp. Very flat.

Not a horrible road in Rocky and rough do able in 2wd. Pulled in on a friday night, very windy but calmed down. No one here. no garbage to speak of. Mining operation fired up around 8am. not too noisy. Good safe spot to drop by for a night.

Great spot to park for a night or two! I stayed one night and it was very quiet aside from the river (which I found very peaceful). There are porta-John’s, though they could use some servicing. Was fine, just bring your own TP 😅. I saw earlier comments mentioned there was a way to pay for the sites if you arrive late, but I didn’t spot any money drop boxes—possibly because it’s the winter? Unsure, but very grateful for this quiet place to stay for the night!

Felt safe. Locals show up for the hike up the mountain starting at 5am most days.

Nice and quiet, busy in the morning with walking locals. At the toilets and the end of the road there are 'no overnight parking' signs, but there are none along the road between. Many pullouts along the road. Arrived late and left late, no one bothered me.

Ahmed and his team are very welcoming and very efficient. They managed to find parts for our old Mercedes 609 through their amazing network.
We were able to spend the night in front of the garage, a rather quiet street even if the heat of Abidjan bothered us a lot.
Thanks to Ahmed we were able to make the repairs quickly.
We highly recommend this garage.

Grande Parque com muitas árvores.
Dormimos em barraca em meio as árvores ao lado do prédio da administração.
Tem banheiros, conseguimos uma tomada no quadro de luz e tem Wi-Fi livre.
O ponto do iOverlander está descrito ao outro lado da avenida. Então se quer ter essas regalias procure ficar próximo a administração do parque.
Chegamos a noite e montamos a barraca quando já estava bem escuro. Não sei se é permitido. Saímos às 9h da manhã e ninguém falou nada. Noite tranquila.

Looks big from outside, but it's just an impression. The vegetables area is at the other entrance on the right, but it was closed when we arrived (11am). Prices are fair. Great parking area, but they close the gates at night, so no overnight. No open wifi either.

Big Pemex lots of room for large vehicles. They had diesel. The attendant was friendly and let me pump my own fuel. Good gas station.

a very beautiful place for Tents rafting big rigs and it's busy with lots of folks. nice vibe great views.
