Great open space to stay at ! The dogs loved running around. We stayed on a weeknight so there were only 3 other cars there. Road is a bit rocky - but we got through fine. Amazing cell service ! (AT&T) my husband and I both worked and it was smooth. Only thing I would caution is of course there a many little bugs flying around - we have a bug net so it kept majority of them from joining us in our van.

Parked overnight at rest area. Cleared it with the guy working here and he said security knew and it was okay. Can no longer park along road as some rvers have ruined it by dumping waste and trash. There are signs up where the original photos where taken.

A little loud and bright but felt safe and welcoming. Clean bathrooms as well

Pretty much as described. Caution on the water, no hookup to fill tank. The potable water smells like poop. Be aware no WiFi or internet or cell service. Just like the old days of camping. Nice place and very quiet.

Great views. Great Sprint reception. Sandy drive in. Had no problem when dry. Saw 4 cars. Windy during the day. Watch out for the ant, as when you step in their home, they will want to crawl up your legs but no bites. Sappy trees. Some road noise, occasional train.

Very pretty and quiet spot along the Swan River. Stayed here mid-week in early May, and there were only two other campers. Be sure to follow driving instructions (posted by others) as there is no sign for the CG turnoff on the highway. I counted eight “official” campsites (with picnic tables and fire rings), but there appeared to be a couple of other flat spots in the woods that have been used for overflow. Pit toilet was in need of service. Bring your own TP. And bug spray.

Pulled in just after they closed up shop. The lady running the gate opened back up for us and let us get a site for the evening. It’s nice and quite. The bathrooms by the boat ramp are disgusting but there are others on the grounds that are much nicer.

The current location isn't accurate. Its a little further down the road. This is a really nice self service laundromat with a cafe attached. The Paninis and smoothies were good. The owner speaks fluent English and is very friendly. You can find it easily on Google if this post didn't fix the location.

We arrived by bicycle (with our police escort as usual) they wanted to charge us 350egp for a double room. We ended up paying 250egp. Room is clean, with fan and a/c, balcony and fridge.
Room on the backside of the building, so nice and quiet.

We enjoyed 3 nights at this amazing, unfenced, campsite. The ablution block is a distance from some of the campsites so it is advisable to be self sufficient at night.
We had Elephant walking through and past our campsite every day.
The camp needs to change to solar for hot water - the donkey exploded while we were there.
We did not pay $50 as we asked for SADC rates.

High atop a bluff up a boulder strewn dirt road. Verizon 13/22 upload/download. Overlooking the valley and Rt 24 below. Turn R off Rt 24 to Sunglow Campground just before Bicknell, then R again onto dirt road. Diesel in Bicknell and groceries ahead in Loa.

I so much wanted to stay here! The “driveway” of the campsite was too gnarly for me. You need a 4-wheel drive. The pic doesn’t do it justice. Plenty of other sites but this is the best.
