We spent 1 night here. Perfectly good camp but we had been spoilt at Nunda. Dusty camp with good ablutions, restaurant and bar, small swimming pool and friendly hosts

Run down trippy place but still very cool nonetheless, 300-400 pesos per night. Ruben was very nice and the bathrooms were nice enough for a dilapidated RV park. The turn out is just past a nicer Tortuga Place.

Quiet night. Nobody was here. We felt safe.

We stood a night on the flat parking lot. The price is still at TZS 20'000 PPN. We did not use an infrastructure, but this will be provided if needed. Truck noise from the adjacent main road. Otherwise beautiful landscape. So or so, good for one or more nights on the way from or to Zambia.

LOVED this spot! Beautiful overlook of Carson City - arrived late at night and the lights were beautiful. One passer by honked obnoxiously and a few trucks passed through in the morning but felt safe overall and slept well.

Natural KZN Campground with a nice setting in the foothills of the Drakensberg mountain range. Very quiet and remote, we were the only campers there. Nice but not spectacular hiking options. No cell phone signal. 90 ZAR p.P.

Well maintained camp with all the usual amenities. A great place to relax and clean up some of the dust of the Savannah way. The town has 3 mini markets with basic supplies as well.

Parking where you can stay overnight expect on Mondays (local market).

Israel and his crew repair everything related to electrical motors, transformators, generators, pumps, etc.
We had a voltage transformator 120V2200V with a short circuit (rain water) and they disassembled, repaired, rewinded and assembled it within 48h for 75$. Professionally done.

this place was very conveniently placed and the views of the bridge were amazing! we did not stay though because there were signs all over the lot about frequent theft area and don't leave important belongings in your vehicle and stuff like that. our vehicle is home so we did not feel totally safe and decided to move on.

really nice, big pull off right on the water! there were 2 other rigs here with us and lots of room to spare. beautiful area!

Free dump station right off I80 at the rest area. Had to walk to a spigot to fill a water bottle to get some water for rinsing. Nearby spigot was not working.

We were so happy to find this site open since we are in a 40’ Super C and need a pretty spacious spot. We just left there so early in the season there were plenty of spots available, though not all suitable for larger rigs. The roads getting to this spot were about as perfect as they could be. Forest Trail Rd is paved and goes all the way to the Lake Michigan Recreation Area where there hiking trails and a parking lot for day use, as well as a campground. But why would anyone want to stay in a campground when there are sites like this a few miles down the road?! People should be aware of the fact that, while this is called and I think known to locals as Cooper Rd., the actual road is called Morton Rd. The largest spot is about a 1/2 mile down the road once you turn left off Forest Trail. A few locals drive down the road during the day but overall it’s super quiet. We found potable water and a dump ($5) at the Marathon Station at the corner of Hwy 31 and Forest Trail. They also have a large dumpster but there were also a few dumpsters that seemed open and available by the campgrounds by the Recreation Area. Very easy for packing in, packing out!

AT&T data was 3.5mb and allowed us to stream whatever we wanted but was a little slow at times. We do use a booster which did help a lot at this site. Verizon was very weak, 1 bar, calls were hard to make while there.

Holy crap. Delicious. Must BBC stop on way in or out.

We parked in the parking lot by the Bass Pro Shop for one night. We were not bothered. Some traffic noise but very empty overnight.

Dirt roads to an information board and then you can drive left or right to find some primitive camping spots. The ones to the right are closer to the road and the road itself is shorter. The ones to the left are a little bigger, have more of a "driveway," and are generally further from each other. We went to the left and found the perfect campsite for us which had a lot of room and allowed us to get some sun amongst all the trees.

Customs is now in the new TPA tower behind the old Tanzania Revenue Service building.
Extension of your TIP is on the 7’th floor!
One month is 20 USD.
We were in time, but the inspector was keen to point out that you should always extend your TIP in time, and before it is expired.
There are hefty fines involved if you don’t!

Not skoolie friendly! After getting membership card and contacting security as per the instructions in earlier reviews. I was informed that they do not allow buses or anything that wasn’t originally an RV. They referred me to Walmart down the road from them or a truck stop to the north.

This is a beautiful spot overlooking the an amazing canyon.

Pulled in after dark. Most of the sites are open. Free, clean, looks like there are pit toilets close by. Plenty of wood, couldn’t find kindling, had to split my own. Nice sites, plenty big for most RVs and trailers. Its off the freeway a bit but you can still hear it. No water at spigots I found.

We stay here and it was so quiet! We parked the camper really near of the beach. So beautiful place to stay.

Great open space to stay at ! The dogs loved running around. We stayed on a weeknight so there were only 3 other cars there. Road is a bit rocky - but we got through fine. Amazing cell service ! (AT&T) my husband and I both worked and it was smooth. Only thing I would caution is of course there a many little bugs flying around - we have a bug net so it kept majority of them from joining us in our van.

Nice nature paradise with basic ablutions (you have to share) , outside showers with hot water, clean.
The friendly staff cleaned everything in the early morning again.
You can hear the hippos in the Kwando river.
